Ordered baked spaghetti. Barely any sauce on the noodles. Italian dressing on the salad was mostly vinegar with no seasoning. Overall a very disappointing meal. There are much better Italian restaurants in Mechanicsville which I will patronize in the future.
April 6th, 2022, 7:00PM - Simply put - I ordered Baked Spaghetti w/ meat sauce. The waitress brought me baked Spaghetti with marinara sauce. They offered to bring me a side of meat sauce to go on top of the baked Spaghetti. I asked it to be remade the way I ordered it. Manager said they will have to charge me for 2 baked Spaghetti dishes. They made the mistake and to get what I wanted I would have to pay for 2 Spaghetti dishes. After the Manager came over, I asked to see the owner. He did come to my table, and I explained the issue. He finally offered to correct it, but I had already lost my appetite and was so unhappy how they handled the situation. After 12 years of being a customer of Gus', I left hungry and disgusted. I will never return.

Our server was John and the food was absolutely delicious.. all of the ingredients were prepared fresh.. one of the cheese sticks was empty on the sampler and the drum sticks were a little dry, however, everything else on the plate was great.. Real bacon on salad with special requests remembered and applied and LARGE chunks of blue cheese, literally the best I have had in a Virginian restaurant! My husband's steak was cooked over to medium when he ordered it med rare and the French Fries were kind of hollow with not much potato to them.. the chicken parmesan was average and the pasta was a little watery.. we took the Gus' Special pizza to go it is very heavy and made Chicago style so not something I'm used to.. suggest the servers find a different place to stand as there was quite a large crowd of employees with not much to do

Great Time Awesome Food & Atmosphere Workers are are on time with everything. Definitely one of my favorite spots a few times a week

We had a party of 10 for lunch and the food was great and the service was fast! I recommend the patty melt and fries. Delicious!
Food is good but be aware that it takes them 45 mins to make a pizza. The last time we were there, part of our order was a pizza and what we thought would be a moderate amount of time for lunch took hours. Today we ordered pickup, which included a pizza, and they told us on the phone that the pizza would take 45 mins.
