I first visited because of the negative reviews I saw. Every one I came across read like it was written by someone who's idea of adventurous is ordering something outside of their usual at Applebee's or by someone who would simply be better off preparing their own food at home.Seriously. You're going to go to go to a relatively new small business amid a global pandemic and national labor shortage and complain about service? OK bud, solid opinions you have there.The moment the immense guacamole bowl arrived at my table I knew they had my business for life - and it only got better from there.The entrees are not only delicious but utterly titanic in proportions. I ordered a special, ate until I couldn't possibly take another bite, and left with a to-go container that made it look more like I was headed to a cookout than leaving a restaurant. Looking for a place where you can make three meals out of a single order? Look no further.This is restaurant is hands down the best Mechanicsville has to offer and deserves nothing more than to be embraced as a local staple. Go. Be patient with your server. Eat like a king, and return home with leftovers so you can eat like a king tomorrow too. Make it worth their while to stay in business or I will never forgive you.Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
Fantastic dinner out tonight. Great variety. Great food & exceptional service!
Service was slow. 3 of us went for dinner and it was almost empty. One meal came out quick the other 2 were almost a half hour later. Two of the meals one was fajita, the meats were tough and dry. We'r won't be back.
Service was a little slow and waitress needed a little better training. Better have at least high school basics of Spanish speaking skills to order, which I didn’t mind. Food was spectacular and definitely made up for the other hiccups in service while there. We will definitely be returning
First two times were nice. The third time, the waitress obviously didn't put our order in at all since it was over 50 minutes before we got an update on our order and other people had entered, ordered, and gotten their food before us. At the end, the manager didn't seem sorry at all about why the server failed to put our order in.We gave it one more try. The food came out at a decent time but my fish tacos that were supposed to come with cabbage had iceberg lettuce and a very pitiful piece of fish. We're done with them forever after that.
Super slow service, the wrong drinks because our first waitress didn’t understand us. Food ended up being tasty but mine came out almost 20 minutes before the other two meals. Because we all wanted to eat together ( kind of the point of going out together) my daughter and I waited for all the food and then ours was cold. Waitress was very sweet but super inattentive. We will not go back. The food was not good enough to entice a second try.
