Early bird special 6am-8am was excellent
Very good food just like every time we come here. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because the buffet was not open on a Saturday. Really don't understand why it wasn't open weekend is when a restaurant does the most money. We will be back.
Reminds me of breakfast at grandma's. Prices are reasonable and servings are plenty. We had...blueberry pancakes with real blueberries. I love the home fries with sautéed onions. Spent $25.00 for two people.
Service was friendly and attentive. Our order was just as expected, except my wife was a little disappointed about her oysters ( cooked) too hard).
This is the place the place to be for breakfast in Mechanicsville! Despite the long line, out the door of the restaurant, we were seated within 15 minutes of arrival. Our food and drinks came out quickly. The service was family friendly and warm. We enjoyed everything we ordered for breakfast; our food came to us piping hot (the correct temperature in my opinion) and delicious. When this place mentions gravy, it's a lavish serving. The coffee lacked any bitterness, as my husband noted. The portion sizes are certainly generous for the price. My husband and I truly enjoyed our breakfast experience here, and we will be back!
Good food except for the home fried potatoes but the atmosphere give a old school country vibe. I enjoyed my brunch here
From the outside, honestly wasn't sure. But once I got in there, I knew it was gonna be good. It has the vibe of a Southern Grandmother's house. And I love it, there's assortment of miscellaneous collectibles. The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere is just warm and retro. It gives me all the feelings of dinner at My Grandparents house, which is a very heartwarming feeling. The food was on point, very well done. All for a great price, We definitely look forward to going back.

I meet some friends here once a month, 3 of us usually get the Wednesday lunch special, liver and onions. It is always good. I on occasion get another Wednesday special, tuna salad salad, the portions and the quality is always good and consistent
