My husband and I ate here for lunch recently and absolutely loved it! We got the cornbread and meatballs appetizers and the charred burger and cheesesteak entrees. Everything was delicious but the best was the meatballs! They were super flavorful and the sauce was bangin! I've never had pimento cheese on a burger before but it was wonderful, even with the kick of spice. Definitely going to return again!
Newly opened and obviously working through the kinks, Charred did not disappoint. I give 5 stars to the entire staff, the ambiance, and the variety of menu items. We encountered a few issues but everything was efficiently handled with grace and with even more friendliness. A well put together cocktail menu pairs nicely with all food options and the staff obviously cares for the establishment and its reputation. Highly recommend trying, as this is the first unique restaurant to make its home in the Ville offering an eclectic mix of new American fare menu options that will please even the most finicky critic.
Here for a quick lunch. Portions are immense. Place is super modern and clean. Having only been open two months everything is as expected. I'll definitely be back here for the bar at some point.Stopped in again on a Wed Night. Bar was popping and lively. Good draft selection on tap. Saw the dinner menu this time. Had the half Honey Sriracha wings & Nashville Hot. They were both really good. But.... then some the Flatbread or(pizza), it's a pizza come on. It was amazing! I got double pepperoni and it was damaging kinda good.
Beautiful place, friendly staff and great menu. We enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Everything was right, prepared quickly and neatly plated.
I came in for my first time. It was great! Excellent cocktail program with high quality ice in the drinks. My wife was happy with her drinks, too. Food was great. We had the seared tuna and crispy brussel sprouts. The honey sauce(?) on those was amazing. She loved her burger, and the wild mushroom pizza was perfect! Service was flawless...even servers that weren't ours checked in to make sure we were happy.
We had a wonderful experience! We had a large group with kids and loved being able to make a reservation. Our waitress was attentive and our food was prompt. The cocktail list was fun and had something for everyone! The food was fresh and delicious. The icing on the cake was seeing one of the owners doing nitty gritty work the whole time we were there right along with the waitresses, I love that kind of thing! We can’t wait to go back and love having such a fun family restaurant in the community!
Cocktails are amazing and the fried green tomatoes are phenomenal! Caity was an awesome bartender. Good music, good service and good atmosphere.
The place had just opened, so it was packed. Food is good, but watch out for the chicken sandwich, which is impressive, but the seasoning was HOT to the point of being uncomfortable. Pizza and wings were great, too. Good atmosphere!
I ordered a Beet and Burrata salad for takeout with chicken on it. Since I paid $17 for it I was expecting an entree sized salad. This was the size of a side salad from most restaurants and the chicken was slimy, under seasoned, and sliced in very bizarre large flat chunks. I’m really disappointed. If you are going to serve that pathetic of a portion size it needs to be half the price. Not to mention, the “pink” burger we ordered is verging on raw. This was my first experience at this restaurant and it’s not off to a good start. I’m never one to send things back, but had I been dining in and gotten served these they would have gone back to the kitchen.
Nice contemporary atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive. The tuna appetizer and meatball appetizer was delicious!
