Well after having not seen or been to an Applebees in over two years (Hawaii doesn’t have any), my experience was fairly pleasant. The hostess was very nice and let us know up front because of staffing our wait time might be a little longer than usual (it wasn’t), that was much appreciated. My server was also very nice and took care of us. I ordered the FOUR-CHEESE MAC & CHEESE WITH HONEY PEPPER CHICKEN TENDERS. The meal was quite underwhelming, the tenders were very small, but they tasted well. The mac and cheese was very greasy, and I with the name being four-cheese, I expected more cheese than was on there. Overall good experience but my meal did not live up to the expectations.
Not happy with the level of service at all. I placed an order for my mother for her Mother's Day dinner. This order was 45 minutes late. We live out of town to get to our parents. We used the app, which said it would track us on our travels to Applebee's in Mechanicsville. When we arrived, we clicked the app to let them know that we were here. After being 25 minutes late, I called to let them know I was outside. They asked what type of order I had. I told them I had two salads. I waited another 20 minutes and went inside. Only for the manager to get an attitude and upset with me for the order being under my first name instead of my last name. This was embarrassing because employees were all standing around also. I can understand the confusion if the order was under my first name instead of my last name. What stands out to me is that we were in their curbside spot for 45 minutes and nobody went out to see if we were helped, they had an order on their to go rack for over 45 minutes with someone calling for the same order, and the attitude that was giving to me very publicly in front of everyone and everybody. I will not be eating at Applebee's again.
Came in here with the wife, and kids. Got seated. Family came in after us, got seated and they got served first. No one came to serve us… they were having conversations at the bar hanging out… Unacceptable
Waitress was never around and when dhe did finally come she'd forget half of what we needed. The 4 cheese Mac and cheese was awful-truly. It was like water. No flavor and pooled in the bowl not on the Mac. The chicken in it was over fried and hard and sickening sweet. The only thing good was my chicken and shrimp. It was not earth the 100$ for 3 meals and a kids meal
Went here on 3/11/2022 and will not be going back. My family and myself went here to celebrate my son's birthday...my order wasn't right. My fiancé ordered a sweet tea, never received the tea, and they tried to charge us for it. Our food was not only incorrect but also COLD. Our food apparently had been sitting in the window for a period of time. My fiancé spoke with the manager about his food because he was very disappointed and only received a 5.00 discount off. Highly disappointed. I normally leave tips but not this time when my order was incorrect and tried to charge for an item that was never received. I wish I could give them a half of star if that.
Poor service, loud drunks, wrong food, wrong drinks. Ask for check after sending back wrong food to cut our losses, and still had to pay $7 for 3 bread sticks and a Pepsi. This was after speaking to manager. Ordered Dominos while waiting for our $7 breadstick and Pepsi check. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!. Can't blame on being short staffed. The place wasn't 20% full. I wonder if the franchisee ever secret shopped their store. They would probably walk out! I gave 1 star because I couldn't post no stars.
Bar was clean, bartender was attentive and made good conversation. Had to change a keg and make a cup of coffee for my company. Had a beer, talked and made our way out. Nothing bad to sat but just a quick stop for a drink also.
Ordered curbside to go at 2:52pm estimated ready time 3:10pm. At 3:32 went inside to see what's going on. Order was ready but no one bothered to bring it to me. Asked why man said he didn't see my car. The only silver Nissan Rogue in the parking lot. Order was also wrong had to wait another 10 minutes.
Great place to eat and excellent atmosphere. Super friendly staff and usually no to little wait time. Good food that satisfied the soul ?
