Used to feel like a welcoming place. The great staff have mostly moved on. That says something about this company. It feels like an alienating McDonald’s level of service and experience now. I actually got a dirty look once when I needed to fix (hopefully get a replacement on) an app order that had gone to the wrong store. See dogs in the store especially on weekends and had to figure they were just loose about the rules. The day my app freezes and I dare to stick my head in with my dog to order I am scooted out the door while trying to explain. Something serious is going on with this company that they have trouble keeping good people who can get to know customers and maintain a cohesive experience. Even the good locations have had to severely cut back hours - with no warning - due to staffing problems.
Not enough barristas and/or machines. Too long a wait. Not up to Starbucks standards, at least on the one day of my visit.
I love their pike place coffee.
Gave this place 3 chances. Each time they took forever or didnt make my order. Each time they took my money efficiently though!
Good location but exceptionally slow service. There were 6 staff members on a Saturday morning working and only one register open with the line to the door. Open the other register!Update - considering popularity of the Starbucks brand, convenience of this location, COVID, etc., the staff is working hard to provide great service. Patience.
Terrible service — expect to wait at least 15 minutes for one drink…. Online orders come before all in store orders
Please update the store hours on Google!! I know there are labor shortages etc but it’s very frustrating to get there at 5:05 trying to buy a gift card and staff wouldn’t open the door when the Google posting said the store was open until 8pm. I don’t expect special treatment but I do expect the store hours to be updated on Google. Warning to customers, check the Starbucks app instead of Google maps from now on.
Can anyone tell me what’s going on with my Caramel frappe?Full of ice grated. Of course not blended well. Ruin my morning and waste my time and my money to get a drink here ( not busy hours but wait for a bit long).
Nice Store. As always Starbucks was busy but well staffed.
The brand itself is good, but this location fails to meet your standard expectations. The taste of the same drink is always inconsistent. Don’t they usually have a “cheat sheet” for workers that can’t memorize how to make Starbucks drinks? Still they find ways to mess things up.The most outrageous mistake is when I ordered an iced matcha tea latte with LIGHT ice and they gave me an iced coffee with milk… and when I confronted them about the drink not being green because, well, for those that aren’t color blind, matcha typically means GREEN. The barista actually said, “Oh, that’s not green?” UM DOES IT LOOK GREEN TO YOU? And then they gave me a replacement drink that literally was the definition of 200% ice, 10% matcha, which if you remember from my original order, I had asked for light ice…There’s another Starbucks down the street inside the Giant supermarket. If you’re looking for consistency and quality, I highly recommend you go there. If you don’t care, then 7-Eleven will do.
