Have tried twice and both times enjoyed my treats (twisted donut, strawberry creme cake and mango creme). Not super sweet but sweet enough, light and fluffy. Will return to try some breads or other savory items and drinks.
We visited not long before closing and it wasn’t too busy, but several other groups came in while we were there. Those working were very friendly offering useful information and were very efficient.A large selection of tasty treats were available. We enjoyed rolls, Japanese cheesecake, and mini sweet rice donuts.Prices were reasonable for freshly made baked goods and the taste was great. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.
They are an amazing group of people with amazing cakes. They really made my friends birthday weekend amazing. We ordered the strawberry cake that was amazing. They were attentive to detail and put in extra attention to packaging and adding the cake essentials needed. Would definitely recommend
Cakes and pastries are the best In the U, S of A. Try the small sample size castella, cream bun or mini-roll. “Diabetically” delicious ;)
This place continues to have really nice pastries and cakes. The banana bread and the mango mousse were spectacular. And the funny pig cakes are just hilarious.
Ordered an omelette around 2:35-2:40pm. Waited patiently thinking it’s a Saturday and the mall is super crowded today so it’s okay. Around 2:58, went up to ask on how much longer it’ll take and was told the chef is leaving for the day. I was so starved, could’ve gone anywhere in the last 10 minutes to get something to eat, but wasted time waiting for something that hadn’t even been started. Ridiculous service. I’ll have to think thrice before going here again. If the order can not be made, PLEASE INFORM YOUR CUSTOMER AT LEAST FIVE MINUTES LATER. Thank you.Edit after Reply from Owner: If it was a misunderstanding, I would not have received a refund for my first omelette. I’d simply have been told I cannot order a second one. I received a refund for an order that was never handed to me or announced that it was ready. But thank you for your response!
Shilla Bakery is definitely my to-go place for pastries and desserts. I’ve been going to their Annandale location for years! After finding out about their Tyson’s store, I was delighted! The staff were very friendly and I absolutely love their products!
I ordered two cakes from Shilla Bakery for my Lunar New Years dinner and my whole family loved them! They have hands down the best cakes ever!Pictured: fresh cream fruit and tiramisu flavored cakes ?
I love macaroons and so I decided to get 4 of their macaroons. I could not even bite into it as every single one of them were rock hard. ??? Is it just me??? $1.85 each. Wouldn't even want to pay a penny for it. Usually Shilla bakery is very good but they need to stop selling their macaroons if they don't know how to make them. DISAPPOINTED!
I just picked up birthday cake for my daughter. I called and ordered the cake four days in advance. However, they gave me the cake on displayed and refused to write “Happy Birthday note” on the cake. Instead they wrote the happy birthday note on a cookie and told me that I should put the cookie on the cake. Their attitude was very bad! I will not buy anything from this store again!
