I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and always same good service and same taste food. It is really good to come same restaurant many years and taste doesn't change.I really recommend this place.Great service and great food.
Kazan has been on my list to try and came recommended from long time residents in McLean. The service was great along with the ambience. My party of 4 tried the sampler appetizer which was great. The pita (kuboos) was warm and fresh soft. All other food was great and well flavored while being extremely rich in butter and cheese. Special.shout out to the baklava that was soft and crumbly, expertly made for sure. I would recommend to all those who like Mediterranean food.
Everything would be lovely if the waiter did not refuse to bring a cup of tee after the dinner I had. It was 8:45 pm, he said that the kitchen was closing and there is NO TEE LEFT? Excuse me, what? It was so awful not to get just a cup of hot tee after being fasting for 16 hours during Ramadan!
Terrible service. Non attentive service and arrogant impolite owner. I went there to have dinner with my wife and we had to beg for attention so that we can order. When I tried to complain to the Turkish manager who turned out to be the owner he arrogantly told me that I need to be patient like everyone else. That is the problem with people who never heard of the old American slogan “The customer is always right” America is not the same sadly.
We are huge fans of Turkish cuisine and have been visiting Kazan for decades. We've always enjoyed our meals there and last week was no exception. Typically, we come on a Friday or Saturday so we can enjoy the doner kebab. It was excellent, as it almost always is.The one area for improvement? Our sigara borek was not freshly prepared. At all of the Turkish restaurants in the area, the sigara borek typically come fresh, hot, and crispy - right out of the fryer. But last week at Kazan, ours came just warm, old, and soggy. And the cheese borek lacked that bite and sharpness that I've come to expect from beyaz penir in authentic Turkish borek. There was clearly something that wasn't done right. Perhaps they were just cooked earlier and quickly warmed up before serving?We'll continue to come to Kazan, to be sure. Just perhaps without ordering one of our favorite dishes - the sigara borek. It's a great place to be on a weekend night.
Excellent restaurant, excellent food, excellent service. Everyone is friendly, nice and welcoming. Ayham(sorry for the misspelling) is the best. Thank you for the wonderful dinner.

My friend and I enjoyed this beautiful establishment tonight. All 3 courses we enjoyed were freshly made and so delicious. I even took so much food home with me. I will definitely be back!
