We ate outside, which was nice and quiet and very pleasant. Service was good. The wine selection was nice. The food was just ok (chicken picata, baby clams linguine). Very few clams and both entrees were not very flavorful or interesting. Expensive for portion size and quality. Inside seemed loud and skews in age over 70.
Capri is great place to go for lunch for business or personal. It's quiet and the staff lets you stay for extended period without rushing you. I hadn't been there in a while but I thought the salad menu was great and original. The fresh bread is delicious and nothing completes lunch better than raspberry sorbet! .... although it was between that and the limoncello cake!
The food and service are reliably excellent. The menu is varied, so there's something for everyone! Love the bread, also.
We felt like Capri's food wasn't up to its usual high quality, which was disappointing as we had guests and told them it is one of our favorite restaurants. The veal milanese was cold--possibly because we were sitting outside, but it was also rather tasteless. The paglia e fieno--always a favorite--was dry. They did accommodate our guest's need for gluten free pasta, but overall the meal was a bit embarassing when we were entertainong.
Food and service were excellent! Highly recommend this place.
Great food and great service as usual. They never disappoint.
Very good, traditional cooking. Excellent service thatâs appropriately attentive. The wine list could use some refreshing to bring in better examples and the wine should served at cooler temp.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in McLean. The service was very attentive, but I didn't think the food was quite as good as usual. I had eggplant parm, and the sauce was too bland. It definitely needed more spices. My companion was happy with her pasta dish though. Will definitely go back as it's usually very good.
Always enjoy. A local favorite!
Always a great meal.
