My roommate highly recommended this restaurant. Ordered online, and when my order got delayed and wasn't ready when I got to the restaurant, the server generously offered me freshly brewed tea and Firnee while I was waiting--that right there is quality service.The food was warm and flavorful, and i was very satisfied with the portions. The butter chicken was well cooked and my dining companion quite liked the lamb kabob. Def will be going back sometime soon.
Love this place its becoming my Friday thing! The Food is Beyond Bomb I don't even like chic peas best chic peas I ever had I always get the double chicken kabob combo but the lamb is great too! And the rice I'd just fantastic! Yall are awesome Hands Down everyone should try! Don't forget my green sauce! :) and I never leave reviews they deserve it!
Pretty pricy via Doordash but we got a huge serving size and it was all packaged well. Largest serving size of naan I've had so far in the region! Both white and green sauces were flavorful and complimented the spiced meats perfectly. Chickpeas were tasty. Salad looked like an afterthought but I mean.. no tears were shed. Definitely worth ordering from again.
We had a catering for one of our family events from this restaurant, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything went well. We ordered Afghan food, the food was delicious and on point. The price was very good for the amount of food they served. I’m a customer for life.

What a wonderful discovery! We found out about this place looking for different food place to try out. I messaged asking about making a reservation as it is Ramadan and I wasn't sure if the place would be packed because of it. They responded and I was easily able to secure a table with them.The restaurant is large with plenty of tables and you are greeted when you enter. The menu offers a variety of Pakistani and Afghani food. We ordered the ashak appetizer and for the main meals we had chicken biryani and boneless chicken kabobs. Everything was very tasty and the chicken incredibly tender. I was impressed and would certainly look forward to coming back to try other dishes. The afghani tea was a perfect ending to the meal and they brought us a Pakistani version of rice pudding (instead of rice it is either fine noodle or kunafa, not sure) and that was perfect-- not too sweet at all and not made with rose water!! That's a win for me!The restaurant had a buffet for Ramadan. I didn't take a look, but it seems like it was a deal for $16. There is a small prayer room at the entrance of the restaurant for those that want to do their Maghrib prayer before breaking fast here. There is also a mosque just across the street, too.The staff here are generous and kind. They packed us a few take-home boxes of food from the buffet as a gift for us to take home. I was taken aback by their generosity. May Allah bless them for it. I truly hope to come back and bring more family and friends here!
It was our first time eating there yesterday. We got to eat from buffet. There was only few items to eat and none of them were tasty. Quality was very cheap! Rice pudding was disgusting! Dates were dry! And there was no salt and paper shakers anywhere, no sugar for tea! Felt like the price was pretty high for all these cheap quality foods! Definitely not coming back
Absolutely fantastic, I wish I lived a whole lot closer than Fredericksburg! Amazing food, huge portions, and friendly service t a great price. Their spicy yoghurt sauce is incredible!
Place is absolutely amazing, they probably the best naans in the DMV area, hands down!! Staff was extremely nice, caring and sweet. Food was awesome and our family can't wait to go back. Thank you!!!
We catered lunch from this restaurant 3days in a row for about 60 people each day for our wedding guests. The food was delicious and prepared punctually everyday! All the workers at the restaurant were incredibly kind, hospitable and accommodating to all our needs. If you are looking for a great place to eat or a great place to cater from, don’t look for any other place. Just visit ZamZam Kabob house!
