I'm absolutely obsessed with this place! Delicious food, friendly staff and the only time I EVER had an issue (a takeout order on Super Bowl Sunday) they were fast to fix the problem and super sweet and apologetic about it.
There are TVs at every table and we used to be able have the channel changed whenever we wanted. Tonight we were told that what you see is what you get. That is BS. What is the point In paying the high prices if you are not getting that additional amenity? That is what stood out from others. Not anymore.
We keep trying and hoping it will be better. Tonight ordered sides of macaroni and cheese one was slightly warm and one was not cooked it was macaroni with cold cheese on top. Looked like instant Mac and cheese. Son ordered a French dip but at least we got the dip this time it had leaked in the bag so it was not enough for the sandwich. Not sure what is going on but this is the last time we are ordering from them.
If you’re there during the week, or whenever the DJ isn’t there, it’s great. Food is nice, service is good, and prices aren’t bad for the area.HOWEVER. If you go when the DJ is there (seems like Friday/Saturday nights after about 530-6), prepare for terrible music at unbearable volume. The DJ likes classic rock, but just cannot replicate a good vocal range. I’m sure he has the best of intentions, but it is just too loud. At the other side of the restaurant you can’t have a conversation without shouting, over mediocre music. I appreciate that he is trying, but he needs to turn the music down. It isn’t a concert venue, it’s a small restaurant.
Very good wings (bone in). The hot wasnt overly hot but had nice flavor. Wednesdays are half off wings so got 10 for $8 which is worth it.
Cool spot, good vibes, good food! People working there are always VERYYYYY fun and polite. Love their wings, second to choong man chicken (cm chicken) on liberia. I've ordered well over 10+ times and used them to carter game days. Always a HIT, NEVER a miss! Check em out!
Service is usually slow. Burger was just okay; the fries were very good. My wife had the chicken wrap. She said it was okay too.
We have frequented this place several times and had nothing but a great experience and great food overall. We recently moved out of the area but are looking to plan a trip back that way just to specifically go to lunch here. The burgers are great and my go to is the burger/wing combo. The last time we were there we sat outside as we had our dog with us (had tours of our home going on to sell) and they were very accommodating. i recommend this place to anyone looking for a good burger, good wings, or both!
Good food and a big variety of choices. Go early and you'll grab a seat easy! No skimping on serving sizes either...
First time at this Velocity, but I like the layout better. Nice sized bar and great service.
