I had business just around the corner, so I walked in to a wide variety of freshly made donuts. The biggest surprise was getting to pick my own filling, even though I ended up sticking to tradition with lemon-filled glazed donuts and cream filled chocolate donuts. Maybe I'll get experimental next time!
OVERRATED and UNDERWHELMING!!! Owners are not friendly and not welcoming to certain customers. The manager or the owner’s daughter refused to help the gentleman that was helping us so we had to wait a long time. Maybe they were really good when they first opened but the donuts are mediocre. I’ll stick to Duck Donuts and Krispy Kreme. The donuts are very dense and too airy. The Cronuts at Shoppers are way better and the apple fritter is better at Krispy Kreme. Super expensive ice coffee ($7 for two small ice coffee) and oh yeah you have to put your own cream and sugar. The ice coffee at McDonald’s taste better and you can get a large for less! We had a big order and the owner’s daughter didn’t bother to help the gentleman that was helping us. She was not friendly at all but she was VERY friendly to the white folks (please calm down, I’m not racist, just my observation) that came in. Let’s just say she made sure they were well taken care off first and she was definitely catering to them. It didn’t matter what she was doing, she made sure that she looked up and greeted every single one. The gentleman that was helping us asked her if she was making our breakfast sandwiches and she said “NO” and walked away. We waited awhile because of the breakfast sandwiches we ordered. It was our first and last time there and we will not be back!
Super friendly owner and amazing donuts! Usually pretty quick with my drink order too. My favorites are kolaches and cronuts, never had anything like these back in real Texas either ? I've come back multiple times and I'm always recommending this place to my friends. This place makes me so happy every time!
It was our first time visiting Texas Donuts and it certainly won't be our last!!! Greatly enjoyed them and enjoyed our conversation with the owners as well! Very friendly and hospitable! Would greatly recommend!
This is the only donuts I will eat in the state of Virginia. The crownutts it's the best thing since sliced bread. Always friendly people when I go in. Prices aren't that bad.

I was in the area for a doctor’s appointment and saw this joint in the parking lot and it reminded me of all the social media hype I read about it, so I had to stop in. Upon entering, I noticed that they’re still Covid-woke, as they are not allowing dine in and the staff was all wearing masks and it appears that because we weren’t they were very curt with us. I did notice that they have a very nice selection of donuts and related pastries (some fried, some baked). They also had these sweet and spicy sausage rolls called a Kolache. We looked at the display case and started selecting our treats to take home… They have a very nice selection and it’s rather abundant, even though the display case doesn’t look that big. For instance, they had cinnamon in a typical yeast donut and in a sour cream style – so we got one of each! They also offered chocolate/chocolate cake donuts, which are my absolute fav! Their twist was huge, fresh and tasty! But the best was their croughnut… Wow, was that good!! I tried one of the kolaches as well and it was good… Slightly spicy, slightly sweet. I asked the young girl what the origin of it was and she said “Texas!” I ended up looking this up and found out it’s huge in TX, but it’s got a Czech origin. Prices are fair, service could have been a little friendlier. But everything we ate, we loved, so I would return!
The staff here were incredibly friendly and worked super fast. The donuts were clearly made fresh and only added 1200 pounds to my waist. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic donuts. Very different from other places. Donut holes are so light and airy. Best Cronut and apple fritter in the area. They have both styles of donuts. Yeast and cake. Both are good but the yeast style do it for me. My go to spot for munchies.
