Very very good restaurant, the staff is amazing and the food is soooo delicious, recommended 100%, I've been here a couple times and tried different dishes and they're all to die for ??
awful place!, first of all the service took so long to get the food to the table that I just got tired and took it to go, as soon as I got home my daughter started eating the anticucho but the meat was hard as leather and the choclo was sour, the ceviche trio had like some Sort of moldy taste that definitely tells that it was stored for several days, and the seafood rice had an appearance like rubber and the seafood was basically in a decomposition process. When I tried to call them to ask them for a refund besides being rude and insulting me they started to tell me that the food that you take from their place is meant to be eaten there and if you take something home it is meant to be sour and that I didn’t know anything about their gastronomy, in short AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST
My favorite ?? ?? Peruvian spot hands down. Many other restaurants claim to be Peruvian but don't get it right. Sabor A Barrio literally translates to Flavor of the Hood. The name is accurate.
Food and service here is phenomenal.\\nA little out of my way, but that 30 min drive is very well worth it.
Terrible, dirty and bad food. Nasty place. This place is run by mediocre and dishonest people. The food is of poor quality, the huncaina cream is bland, without flavor or consistency, the famous pollada, is junk food, burnt. Terrible, the bathrooms are dirty and the waiters are incompetent. Do not go there, it is really disgusting and does not represent Peruvian food.
Disgusting, old and dirty. Never before have I seen such a neglected place, and obviously the food is the same, very poor quality, food from the day before. The cooks and people working in the kitchen are a disaster, spoiled, shouting all the time between them, the service is terrible, the taste is disgusting. Do not go there, look for other much better options. NASTY PLACE!!!

I was thrilled to find out what Sabor a Barrio had to offer. And I wasn’t dissapointed. By far it has surpassed my expectations and the flavor is on point and superbly far superior to what I am used to expect from a peruvian restaurant in the DMV area. The food was delicious and the carry out presentation had me wishing for more. Today was my first experience and I am salivating for more
