Food was great! The waitress was absolutely amazing! She had beautiful energy. Located in historic part of Manassas. I loved it.
We love outings in Old Town Manassas. We stopped by Philadelphia Tavern for drinks and an appetizer. It has a nice outside patio and yummy white sangria. But best of all was the service by our waiter Gil who's personable, professional and provided us with spot-on service.
Great cheesesteak. I got the 4 alarm cheesesteak. Tasted awesome with some heat added in. Can’t go wrong ordering it. I got double meat. And fries were great compliment. If you in the neighborhood stop on by and enjoy. Yuli was our bartender. She suggested what I got and she was spot on. Great bartender.
Great and simple philly cheesesteak. Bread was nice and soft and meet was tender and good quality. Wanted fries but they didn't have any so just got the chips which aren't bad but won't be getting chips again.
I cannot say anything about the food, but the service was terrible. We stopped by this evening to grab bite to eat and have a drink after reading decent reviews of the cheesesteak. I walked in the bar and stood waiting for a few minutes before I interrupted some chatting employees and asked if we should/could sit anywhere. They said yes and told me grab a seat anywhere I would like. The inside of the bar was complete empty and there were 5-7 occupied tables out front. We choose to sit outside. We found a table right next to two other tables and sat for over 10 minutes watching a waitress come and go several times to one table never acknowledging us. We continued to wait thinking there may be another team member who would serve us. After sitting for awhile longer watching two other male employees chat with a group of female patrons for several more minutes (5+) never disengaging from that group and approaching our table. We ended up just leaving the establishment, having never been served. Maybe an off night.. maybe a miscommunication, but two people sitting at a table at your establishment for over 10 minutes with no food, no drink, or anything I would expect someone would have approached us and asked if we have been helped. Will never return!
Nice bartender, good beer selection, and the cheesesteak was good. No complaints ????
For people who enjoy authentic Philly Cheesesteaks and other Philadelphia comfort foods, but are away from home, this is a perfect bar/restaurant. Also, great Italian food and their tomato sauce is key.
Have to say..small yes and doesn't look like much..but......really good food! Also great service...this is a place that looks a bit scary but is a hidden gem! Definitely recommend
First visit here since moving to Manassas. My wife and I had the Philly Cheesesteak and Pastrami on Rye....excellent sandwiches and the fries were spot on!
I thoroughly enjoyed the place until I went one night and bought a single shot making a $5 tab roughly. Paid via card.When I woke the next day I was greeted to a $20 charge on my card. When questioning the charge was never really given a straight answer as to why. Turns out it was an automatic hold from their system in which there was no cautionary signs posted to let the customer be aware of such a charge on their card. Long story short it was a $20 hold which I’m ok with and would have been fine if notified ahead of time. That is not the issue at hand. When I visited next time I was told I was no longer allowed there due to me questioning the charge and asking others on a public forum if they had the same charges ( I was naturally curious just trying to solve my problem ) I personally do not think that’s the way to handle that situation BUT I am not the owner of the business so they can run it however they please. I hold no hard feelings but just feel as others should know the nature of this issue, otherwise if I wasn’t allowed to state so then there wouldn’t be an option to do so. Happy holidays.
