This place seemed to be good a few years back (Judging by reviews) We had the chicken and lamb kebabs with rice and chic peas. The chicken and lamb were pretty bland not bad but for the price you would be expecting much more flavor. Nan was good, mantu was ok. Overall it is OK you wont be like "wow" or that was "pretty good" after your meal you would be more like "Meh" or "it was ok" I would only eat here if I was craving kabob and didnt want to drive a little bit farther... I would say factoring in everything price, food, taste and so on this place is a 3 stars, its not bad but if you can go some where else I would suggest too.Pros :Good place to eat if you are hungry and just have to eat at that point in time and dont wanna go anywhere elseCons:Chicken and Lamb little bit dryNot worth the priceChicken and Lamb lack heavily in flavorDoesnt give as much in reguard to portion size as other places

9/10 great tasty food came out in a timely manner, overall very clean restaurant. Very nice staff:) would definitely come here again

The food quality has really gone down at this place. Recently wasted money as the food had no flavor - not even salt.I hope the owners can look into this as I won’t be returning back or recommend this to anyone.

Love this place! Always full of good energy and lots of flavor. The baklava is the best in the DMV!!!!! Tried the eggplant dish as well as the infamous kabobs and they were so delicious. Would definitely come again, and love the decor highlighting the roots of afghan cuisine.

I ordered 2 bone in chicken tikka. lady she gave me one brown rice and one white rice. I ordered before also always brown rice. That’s not a big deal but I found hair inside the white rice one and same order chick peas was sour and taste like it was left over from another day. When I called and trying to explain the lady told her my issues and told her I got two different rice on my order and told her I found hair on it . She was not listening to me and yell at me hang up the phone did not apologize to me. I won’t go back to this restaurant any more. I went to shopping and thus restaurant was close to me that’s why I went there. Before also chick peas was missing from my order. And never been replaced and apologized. Really bad service . I wish there is option for zero star ?. Won’t recommend my friends or family. Wasted my money $31.50

This was my first time ordering but I was not happy.. my entree was ground chicken kabob which was dry and had no taste.. I found their quantities less compare to other kabob places…

I ordered two appetizers, both of which were enormous and delicious. Seriously, the amount of food could have fed three other people, and I had to take most of it home. It was very fresh and very tasty. I will definitely be back.

Great afghan food! Definitely recommend their chicken!

This place was certainly 5 stars at a time, ordered tonight and it seems it went under new management? The chickpeas were missed, we were given potatoes that nobody wanted to eat. The salad that was a favorite has changed and to me had no flavor. Much of the meat was dry and not appetizing. We ended up throwing away more than half the food, which is really unfortunate when you spend so much on food.

We arrived here by accident today, but will be going back often. The food is really, really good.
