I was picking up for a food delivery service. There was a large party and a few tables but nothing that seemed too busy for the two wait staff to handle. It was evening but closer to 8pm. One of the staff members came to seat some customers and without asking the name on my order just announced that orders were still being packed and checked because the person doing it was incompetent. I felt that was very unprofessional. The second staff member came out between 5-10 minutes later, still didn’t ask for a name, dropped someone else’s to go order on the counter who wasn’t there yet, and said my order was still being packed. Neither employees were wearing a name tag either.
Came in expecting regular ihop treatment. Everything was going fine till we politely asked a waitress for some ketchup instead she looked me straight in my eyes and walked away I didn’t get her name but she does have gray hair and appear to be older. Our waitress was a bit inattentive.
Nate was excellent with his friendliness, prompt attention, and service! If we needed anything Nate was there to provide and he stayed busy by cleaning tables, sanitizing surfaces, etc.Nate should train the crew at the Dumfries location. The Dumfries location needs it and Nate is the perfect example of customer service!
It was nice to spend time as a family with my Aunt Joy. My parents each got one of the meals that has a senior citizen discount. My aunt got the cheesecake pancakes and another type of pancake platter. My brother Leo got a pancake platter too. I got one of their new sandwiches: the Pepper Jack Patty Melt. It was really filling and satisfying. I also got a side of fries. The bread, of course, was thick and buttery--much better than the typical bread that you can buy from the grocery store. The meat was cooked well enough. Their secret sauce was really nice, and I put some hot sauce in the sandwich as well. I liked the jalapenos, too. I have no complaints. I don't want to be a negative Nancy or Karen who finds faults in even the least worrisome thing. As they say in Oklahoma or whatever: "Don't bite the hand that feeds you." Keep chugging along, IHOP! Compliments to the chefs.
I've been to IHOP in several cities. This was probably one of the most underwhelming experiences we had. The service itself was good, the waitress was attentive and catered to our needs. However, once the food came in, it lacked taste and didn't even seem freshly cooked. We ordered omelettes, which are usually a safe bet. Not this time.Much room for improvement at this location.
Great food. Amazing service. Good look and decor. As a former employee at this location, I am happy to see that it's continuing to go well for them!
This location is usually okay but last Wednesday it was just off. They were out of turkey for sandwiches and out of gluten-free waffles. My husband's fish and chips should never have left the kitchen. They were by far the worst part of the meal. The fish was dried up and lukewarm and the 'chips' were dry too. I had a side of bacon with a Belgian waffle and only half of the bacon was edible! Our server Danielle was the best tho. Too bad the kitchen couldn't do as well as she did. Sadly, we won't be back for awhile.
Worst IHOP ever! I have tried to call in orders over the past few months and the phone just rings and rings. I have walked in while calling them and not a person in sight. I could understand if they were busy but literally one person eating. Worst customer experience always.
Can someone explain me why I was charged extra for same item but with different meat?Don’t tell me it’s two different item, it’s same item which can be easily swapped with beef patty or fried chicken or grilled chicken for no extra $3.99
Took my niece for morning breakfast around 9:30am on a Sat, and we were seated right away. The waitress was nice and efficient, and the food came out pretty fast. I felt the food was good but not great. I've definitely had better pancakes in other places but i could definitely return back here to eat.
