I went in there today and sat at the bar and said I would like to order, they told me I could not order at the counter and would have to pay at before purchase. I said Ok, when I was paying for the order I mentioned that you used to pay at the bar and make your order at the bar. The young lady started to reply and the manager looks over and says don’t take it out on my staff. I told her I just said that was the way it was, and I go to a restaurant to order and sit down and eat my food. She then repeated in a loud rude tone saying the same thing. Then I told her I will go somewhere else, she said that would be good. I have ordered from there every other week during the pandemic and continue to give them my business that whole two years. If they had any since they would look at past sells and see that I have been coming there for the last 5 years since I have lived in the area. Now unfortunately I will never return unless a apology for the way I was treated, I to own a small business in the area and will tell everyone I know. That is not the way you treat someone, I deal with people every day and expect no special treatment but I do give respect and would like it in return. I can ask or inquire about anything without being attacked for asking. I hope you get better customer service. I literally came in to C.J. Finz next door and got treated with great customer service. I want to go here in the first place but my daughter loves the burger and chili fries at fosters Grill.
I love this place! I’ve been going to it since it was open. Was there today and had another wonderful meal! Kim and Oscar (managers) do a fantastic job and always go above and beyond!I also appreciate the senior discount on Mondays and military discount all the time.They never disappoint!
Had a cheeseburger and it was just ok, nothing to write home about. The meat paddy was a bit dry and the cheese wasn't even melted. Probably wouldn't eat there again.
The food was hot and arrived in a timely manner. The portions were generous.
I like my toppings on top of my Hot Dog not on the bottom near the bread and the fries were overcooked and unevenly cook. I paid $20.39 for 1 Hot Dog, Hot Dog Combo and 2 Sweet Tea’s the Hot Dogs look like very large Half Smokes. First time because my 86 year old Aunt wanted a Hot and Google the Restaurant. I live in NC and my Family lives in DC we were just passing through I called the Restaurant and Alexa or Alexis didn’t apologize and said, if I ever return just let her know and they will fix it! I don’t know when that will be but, it was a nice gesture.Restaurant was very clean and the restroom
Char burger was great, not dry or thin patty. Very filling, along with the cheese fries.
Beer was ice cold. Staff friendly. Unfortunately, The burger patty was cold, cheese was cold, the bun was cold. Almost like burger patties were precooked and assembled later. It was an average burger at best. I expected better.
Very nice employees, food is made in a timely fashion, never had issues going 1-3 times per week for the past 2-3 months. Easy 5/5
The food is excellent with fair price. Indoor seating is spacious, and outdoor seating is charming next to the train track. The occasional train flows add old world ambiance.
Great food here! Got a Jr cheeseburger with some fries and a soda there milkshakes are amazing!
