First they made my order wrong. When I went back for them to make it again they put it on the wrong bread and did not add mayo...... I swear I tried to eat it but it was so dry and disgusting I turned around immediately and got a refund. This was my lunch break and I wasted almost 35 minutes waiting for my food to be cooked properly I will never waste my time at this location again.
As many times as I’ve went here, the service has always been GREAT! Until last night, there’s never been an issue. I came in around 8:25, I could see they were cleaning up a little, so I asked, “are you guys still open?” I was welcomed to come in by the 2 short haired girls. I told them I wasn’t sure of what I wanted and to give me a minute… During that time, a young females w/ long, braided hair and glasses came from the back and just started staring at me. A minute later she asked if I was there for a pick up order, which I told her I wasn’t. She then proceeded to look at me as if she was confused to what I was doing… So, I started feeling like her tone, body language, demeanor and everything was just off… I asked her if they were closing, which she replied yeah in 30 minutes. She proceeds to mop and start to make heavy sighs as if I’m standing in her way… I tried moving out of her way, you can see it on camera, to her basically asking me to move from an area she didn’t strike with the mop… I could tell that her attitude had her co-workers on edge. I’m not sure who’s managing that place but something’s gotta be done about her bad attitude toward customers. She had no idea I had already spoken to her co-workers about if they were closed or not, or about giving me a minute to place my order.
Super clean and friendly, the employee David was awesome and quick with my sub. Tasted amazing!
I was in the area and decided to stop at the Firehouse Sandwich restaurant located at 9660 Liberia Ave Manassas, VA. This was my 2nd time at this location, as I have eaten at Firehouse over the years in various states and locations. The first time here, my experience was similar, but I thought I was reading too much into it. But when it happened the 2nd time, I knew it was an issue that needed to be surfaced. Upon entering, the restaurant was clean and organized. There was a couple that was in the restaurant waiting on their order and there were about three to four people behind the counter. So, store appearance and staff were fine, no issues. The young lady behind the register was not very friendly, (she did not have a name tag on, and the receipt says, David which tells me she signed in under someone else's name). She did not give a greeting or ask what I wanted, she just stood there and looked at me, so awkwardly, I decided to greet her. I began placing my order, she repeated the order and without asking, she tells me to swipe my card. She asked my name, I tell her, and like you would imagine, it's wrong on the receipt. I take a seat wait on my order at this point and the staff are all having their conversations behind the counter. The couple gets their order and as they are leaving, the staff all say, "Have a good evening" as they exit. My order comes up and the staff is visually cold towards me, puts my bag on the counter, turns and walks away. No one acknowledged me, said thanks, or provided me with a parting greeting. I want to say, I think Firehouse Subs, as a company is great. The food is fresh, the sandwiches are very tasty, and the prices are reasonable. Further, I support what they represent and over the years, they have been my go-to sandwich restaurant. But I have never been to a Firehouse Sandwich restaurant and felt so unwelcome as I do here. I don't know if it's the staff, the way their management runs this restaurant or if it’s just the demographic location, where certain people may be excluded, but I refuse to spend my money somewhere that does not make their customers feel welcome or like their business is appreciated. I recommend Firehouse Subs, just not this place. If you do decide to eat at this restaurant, just know that your experience may be similar to mine and certain people may be treated differently than others.
Went to get a Steak and cheese sub, the meat tasted foul, no lettuce or tomatoes sad, the quality of this place has really gone down, I will never waste my money like that again, customer service is outstanding the food is awful.
Staff is quick and courteous and the food is always good. The place is always clean and they have one of those soda machines with all sorts of flavors.
First and Last. Didn't care for the service by the tall fluffy gentleman up front. Dismissive and didn't care for his tone or rushed process.
Hook and ladder was fresh and hot
45 minutes for a sandwich I will never come back here again
