Not impressed with this place. I was really hoping that the local mom and pop restaurant would be better and more authentic than the popular Mexican restaurants . Very disappointed in the quality of food. How can you mess up on ceviche which is the easiest and simplest dish to make? The shrimp were baby gulf shrimp and rubbery which means it’s extremely over cooked. I had to put salt in the ceviche for flavor!
They refused to honor our 25% off coupon from Allstate Rewards using many excuses. They stated that there was no manager on duty. When we asked when he would return, they first stated they did not know and later stated he would return next week. When we asked the name and number of the manager, multiple staff members claimed they didn’t know English after speaking fluently before. When we pressed further, they produced a first name, and then later a last name. They claimed the address on the coupon didn’t match (I had to tell them it did match). We never got a phone number for the manager. Thomas was most helpful. Other staff members laughed and sneered at our predicament. We will be returning with our receipt to demand justice next week.
Ate lunch here with a friend the other day. The chips and salsa were delicious. The service was super fast and friendly. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant. I ordered chicken enchiladas with a Molé sauce. My friend had pork taquitos. Although my food was tasty it was not very memorable and in the 30 minutes approximately to drive my friend home my stomach started churning and I barely made it home to hit the “can” if you know what I mean. I barely made it inside the house. Something in that food turned my guts into liquid very fast. I won’t return.
$8 gets you a plate the size of your head filled with a hot fresh meal ready quicker than a mcdonald'sPerfection
I really enjoyed the chorizo enchiladas. Delicious beans, rice, chips and salsa too. Friendly staff, great environment and good food at a good price!

We love this restaurant. Great food [The fajita's for 2] is a must!!! Their Texas Margarita is the best!! Great staff...very clean.
The food is pretty good. The worst service in the tristate area. I may be exaggerating abit, but I am thirsty.
Love El Vaquero West but this one in Manassas just isn’t any where close as good as the one in Haymarket. Bad quality of food and customer service is low too.
I had high hopes going here for this first time. Started out good when I got chips and salsa in my Togo order which was not expected. Chips were fresh and salsa tasty. Down hill after that. I called in my order and very specifically asked for the chimichanga to be "very crispy" and it was not crispy at all, which turns it into a burrito, not what I ordered. So instead of a delicious crispy lunch it was a soggy mess. The "beef" was certainly not hamburger but a stringy, chewy, unseasoned blob that was very unappealing. Needless to say plenty of other places to try
