We have been eating Bon Chon for years. We haven't had it in about a year so we were craving that flavor. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. These aren't even the original style chicken strips. No flat crispy pieces of garlic soy goodness. More like store bought tysons tenders drizzled with an imitation sauce. This is not the Bon Chon chicken we are used to..What happened??!
I often order delivery from this specific Bonchon branch. I love the spicy + soy garlic drums and my husband loves the spicy + soy garlic strips. We also always order the fries. I also liked the bulgogi bibimbap.I do hope they start allowing dine-in soon.
I ordered the Korean tacos and my fiancé ordered bull dak. We didn’t like the food. They were missing taste. Additionally, this location is still carry out only.
Paid $8.75 for a small appetizer that was alright. Carry out only. Not that great.
I would rate Bonchon as "Okay, when drunk" for a wings place. It was my first time having anything from Bonchon, and I had it delivered. This is important because of the sides I got. Generally, when you're getting something for delivery, you don't want to order fries because anything thats supposed to be crispy just ends up a soggy mess... I found out later that their fries are amazing, and i might have to give them another shot.I ordered 10 pc Wings, Half & Half. Half (5) Soy Garlic and Half (5) Plain. For my side, because of the above-mentioned issue, I had to get coleslaw. As an additional item, I got some extra Ranch Dressing.I wasn't too impressed with their packaging. If anyone here has ever delivered food, or has a shred of sense, will know - CARDBOARD is the worst for heat retention and prevention of build of moisture... I have no idea why Bonchon chooses to use cardboard packaging for items they know will need to stay as dry and crispy as possible, but it was a horrible choice, and needs to be changed.Let's start with the smallest items.. The ranch dressing was bland and simply generic, and had a very very runny consistency to it, to the point that if you dipped your wing into the ranch, it was running off like a waterfall before you could get it to your mouth.Next the coleslaw - I'm not a huge fan of coleslaw, to be fair, but when I smelled this coleslaw and tried a bit of it, I could tell that it was amazing and anyone who likes coleslaw would love this stuff... It smelled and tasted fresh and vibrant. Finally - the main part of the whole meal - The chicken wings!Sadly, I didn't enjoy these wings as much as everyone had hyped them up to... The plain wings were just that - PLAIN. No salt. No pepper. No ANYTHING. Literally a wing, dipped in un-flavored batter, and dipped into oil. They were quite greasy on the inside, under all the batter shell. It was so bland that it was depressing! I had a hard time even finishing the ones I had because they were bland, and the runny-ranch didn't do much to help it!The soy garlic wings were what saved this place slightly... They were decently good, and had a great flavor to them... They were a bit heavy on the flavor to the point that the chicken didn't get a chance to live up to it's glory, and was fully masked by other flavors.. The exterior of the wings for both the soy garlic and the plain wings had an amazing crunch to them, and was what I always imagine fried wings will come out as... It's just sad that this place's food couldn't live up to the hype-level it was boosted to... It's not as bad as some of the local wing places I've been to and I might try it again for another opinion, but for now I'll leave it near the bottom of the list. My top favorites will still be Pizza Time, and Wingstop.
The people who work here are wonderful! They greet you with a warm, friendly smile and welcome you to the place. This double fried chicken is so good! It's addictive! Other dishes are tasty too! The lunch menu offers special pricing so try them all! Don't forget to ask for some of their yummy dipping sauces! Spicy mayo is my fave!
Our family sized order was cooked in a timely manor. It was very fresh when we finally picked it up and in my opinion it's some of the best take out fried chicken you can get
I've been to many bon chon restaurants but I was disappointed with this one. The customer service was good but the food was disappointing, the wings weren't as crispy as normal and they had a taste of fish. The fries were ok but again they had the taste of fish, not really sure how that happened but I will stick with other bon chon restaurants in the futureFollowing your response I have attempted to reach via the method you requested but I am unable to submit anything, when I try to submit it just stays on the same page and nothing happens
Top 3 chicken no cap
Not really a review because we went to eat and they don’t have dine in. That was sad because we drove over half an hour to get there.Maybe they could notify online that they only have pickup.
