This is by far my favorite Japanese steak house. This past visit was for mother's day. We had reservations and were sat on-time. How often does that happen? My wife and I ordered the Imperial dinner which comes with soup, shrimp (as an appetizer), fried rice, vegetables, steak, lobster and tempura ice cream. The chef puts on a great show and cooked the steak to perfection (medium rare for us). My granddaughter really enjoyed the show and food which was surprising given how picky of an eater she is.If you are in the mood for a Japanese steak house, Akasaka is worth going out of the way to get to it.
Good food and nice atmosphere. It is great seeing the hibachi cook in action.
An aesthetically pleasing family owned restaurant.Very clean, with a nice friendly waitstaff. The sushi has always been fresh & delicious.I don’t do nigiri too much & only at few places & this is one of them & it’s YUMMY here. Not sure what they add extra to their rice for the nigiri but they are def on to something there <3They have hibachi too if you’re into that, we always come for the sushi so we’ve always sat at the tables. We luckily always get a table close enough so we’re able to also witness the hibachi show which looks like the chefs do a great job at.-They have great Sake choices too- to go is packaged nicely and prompt tooRolls pictured are The Chef specials Oceanic and heartbreak rolls
I ordered Chicken Hibachi for takeout for the first time and was very disappointed. For being $22+ I thought the portions would be a larger but it was quite small. It wasn’t big enough to share between 2 people. Had 2 tiny pieces of shrimp as an the “appetizer”. Definitely was not worth what they price it at, tasted average. Would not recommend ordering it if you’re getting take out. Hopefully the dining in experience is better…
Very delicious little find. Saddled up at the bar for a nice in between lunch and dinner snack. Enjoy some sake! Bartender Abby helped me find the best one, as I am no sake expert, she was absolutely amazing my whole visit!!
Super unique so you won't find something like this anywhere else. The rolls are great and the fact that you can do half and half rolls is perfect for someone who just wants everything. Menu is big with lots of options. Mostly everything is similarly priced compared to other places.
Great atmosphere and great food. Our server, Brady, gave us some great recommendations for some new things to try. We found our new favorite sushi spot in the city!!
Everything was fresh, good quality, and delicious. The lobster especially was so good! We decided to order another one of those as soon as we finished it. Definitely recommend. 10/10
Maybe we visited on a night when they were understaffed, but I had to go to the bar to get water refills. Portion sizes are much smaller compared to local restaurants with similar menus. Staff was friendly but service was slow. Food was tasty.
Very cute place with amazing food!
