If nothing else, they are consistent. Consistently bad service, consistently bad food, consistently overpriced. I've come here three times now, and each time I've left disappointed. The wait staff is clearly overworked and can't keep up, the quality of the food is not great, and the prices are ridiculous for what you get. You can get better sushi from Fresh Market and that's not an exaggeration.
I sat with a party of 5 my party was a party of 3. First. They gave me the wrong food. Then I didn't get all of what I ordered. When I asked for a manager she just ask if I wanted a side of chicken or to just be rung up for just steak and not steak and chicken. First it was rude for the man to ask before serving the food who all had chicken or who all had steak etc and then still forget my food but on top of that. He kept forgetting me in the line period I would get the scraps from what was left like I was just an extra. Second your prices are not cheap so I expect all that I pay for and then respect because I could have taken my 101. 00 dollars else where. I don't know how yet but I want to email corporate. Very rude and quick when I was trying to talk as if they already wasn't listening to anything I had to say. They treated the other 5 with the most respect. And my child and I and her friend on her birthday felt like dogs at a table. Not ever again and this won't be my last stop with this either ?
Ok now this place is my newest fav in Lynchburg Virginia! The food was great the cook was very funny and entertaining, I simply had a ball and took what I couldn't finish with me home. Even though I was upset for not taking pictures, the memories are forever engraved in my mind. WARNING: Don't forget to take pictures or videos. Your headed for a good time?... If you've been to other restaurants where they cook in front of you then you don't wanna miss Wasabi in Lynchburg va. The waiters are great with nice personalities. Very inviting atmosphere, we sat next to a family and we all watched, got to know each other, and enjoyed the cooking performance. (Our cook was very funny). Of course we left a tip and now I'm leaving my review. Best place to start going if you haven't gone already!
Yesterday March 6, 2022…My BIRTHDAY….I had a reservation for 6….My second time going but without reservation….so seating wasn’t a issue….but now that I planned this for several weeks to attend with my friends and family….the Young girls at the front was friendly and polite…but stated we couldn’t sit until my other guest arrived and if we didn’t hurry and attend that I will loose my seating….YES NO ONE IS ON TIME….yes I lost my seating and was sitting with another group of people which were frustrated as well and had a reservation also….Anyhow we were approached byTRACEY…or shall I say rude Tracey with the snappy attitude….her approach was not polite or friendly and she frankly got on my nerves when asked a question….She complained about everything that was asked to her and how she spoke was unprofessional…..So when asked a question she said tuh im not doing this crap…..she went and got this young girl I guess the manager…I didn’t catch her name but she has the black hair on one side and the purple or something on the right side….she said that we could either go to the front and wait about 30 more mins to be seated or go somewhere else….I told my family come on we can go else where…And the young girl said good and the waitress said Thank God…remind you we were the only black people in there besides one of my best friends (white)….I’m very upset that my birthday was ruined and how we were treated…..I hope this place gets better customer service….
Great experience with live cooking spectacle. Food quality is very good!
My only real complain about this place: There’s a woman named Sierra(?), with short dark hair that complains about the customers every time we’ve come here to eat. They opened the doors about 5 minutes early for dinner today, started seating 2 minutes early, and she loudly shouted from the back in plain view, “Why is she (the hostess) already seating people!? It’s the wrong day for me to care!” She also complained about customers coming in during a holiday. She makes customers feel unwelcome when they hear her run her mouth. I don’t know why she’s still employed here if she’s openly badmouthing customers and employees all the time. She acts all perky and nice when she has to wait on a table, but always has a nasty attitude when she’s away. I get things are frustrating a lot of days, but don’t ever take it out on your customers.
We had not done hibachi for years so we were looking forward to it. We were not disappointed. I think they were a little short staffed so we waited a little while for someone to take our drink orders but you have that everywhere now. Our server was very nice and made sure we had everything we wanted. Our hibachi chef was extremely entertaining and funny. He asked how everyone wanted their food cooked and if we had any allergies. Our filet mignon was perfect and melted in my mouth. The seafood and veggies were cooked just right and came out tender. I had a Bahama Mama mixed drink that had the perfect alcohol to juice ratio. I had to take food home because it was more than I could eat. We will be going back and I highly recommend you go and have fun.
Food was wonderful! 100x's better than the other comparison. Cook was entertaining and had us laughing. Will be one if my go to's from now on. Went for my 18th wedding anniversary. It was a great afternoon.
Excellent sushi variety and amazing gyoza. If you want to enjoy the variety of sushi be prepared to spend some money. I have had a small handful of the options available and I always find myself coming back to the spicy tuna roll, which is very affordable. Anything beyond the most basic rolls will cost you more than a cocktail but can certainly be worth it depending on your tastes. We did have to go get our own soy sauce but that was barely an inconvenience. I recommend this restaurant for a nice change up to date night and I'll certainly be going back.
Good food and the cooks are very good at entertaining you when you have a good one some of them do not have energy some of them are really good and you will have the best time of your life
