hire more professional staff, the supervisor & server cussed each other out in front of customers on a Palm Sunday, food was served cold, won't be back, The Waffle House on Timberlake Road in Lynchburg, Virginia is the worst I have ever visited!!
The Waffle House was busy we were met at the door they explained that we had to wait he was really nice we sat we waited. They had a abundance of employees working I watched them as we sat and waited everyone was working efficiently they were cleaning and waiting on customers it was the first time I'd ever seen him this busy on a Sunday. As soon as our seats became available they clean the area and we were ushered to sit down our waiter came to us took our drink order hurried and delivered some food came back took our order our food came out it was hot it was right it was delicious. For as busy as they were it was clean they kept the place spotless the food was right on time and the orders were always right from everything I saw from sitting there watching the other people get their food.
We had a great experience at this Waffle House. The staff was very hospitable. The food was every bit as good as you would expect from a good Waffle House. Floors and tables were clean. We will be back again.
Great meal on Sunday morning since we were on the road. I wanted eggs over medium and grits primarily but I ordered the big breakfast. Heather served it up very well and kept my coffee cup full. Thank you to the whole crew on Sunday morning at 8 am.
After an exhausting moving day, I took my wife and son to this WH. We declared to the server that we are all gluten and carb free, and we ordered accordingly. We waited and we waited and continued to wait. Then a part of our order was brought to the table, but not all of it. The server asked my wife, “are you going to eat anything?” My wife replied, “yes, when you bring my order.” The server said, “Oh, the cook didn’t make your food.” In a poor attempt to “bandaid” the delay, the server gave my wife a complimentary waffle with syrup (she is diabetic and does not eat bread or other carbs as previously declared/disclosed). Once the rest of the food came, we ate. The food delivered first was now cold and didn’t taste right. I discovered that my Western Omelette was made with bacon instead of sausage. The bacon was hard and burned, and frankly tasted badly.Amidst a lot of chaos in the kitchen, the cook dropped several pans on the floor. He picked up the pans and replaced them on the shelf without washing them. Looking down at the floor under the stainless cabinets, we saw the build up of filth and debris (see photo).The behavior of the management and employees included a lot of foul language as well as other behaviors that are not becoming of a respectable business.We will never go back to the Waffle House At 20110 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA
Our wait staff was amazing! The cook was fast and efficient. The food was great! All around great experience!
The cook was on the phone with somebody and wasn't paying attention didn't cook my eggs all the way didn't give me what I wanted on my hash browns. The only thing that saved them from getting a one was the waiter but when he left because his shift was over the other waiter did not come over did not ask me if I needed anything didn't do anything just ignored me and when I finally got up to the register ignored me again didn't say hold on one moment I'll be right there nothing.
This review is about Chloe who is a server at the Timberlake Road store. She is the best waitress/server we have had at any restaurant since I can remember. She greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. She had a smile on her face the whole time we were there. I asked for decaf coffee and she said she would make me a fresh pot. I asked for strawberry jelly only and she gave it to me right then. Our meals were exactly what we ordered and we got it fast. She was there to refill coffee and asked several times if everything was good and did we need anything. Chloe deserves to be promoted and she deserves a BIG raise if you want to keep her employed there. I believe she would make a great manager. We've had a couple bad experiences at that particular location before. The last time we went there there were 3 tables of people and no one waiting. We were told to go to Forest because they were low staffed (we saw 7 employees just standing around) we live just off laxton road so Forest wasn't a close drive. Please make Chloe a manager at timberlake road.
We have never had faster, friendlier service at waffle House before. The entire staff was very efficient and friendly
Walked in and 5 out of the 6 tables were dirty so I waited for a table. Then the waitress started yelling at the cook about something and was angrily washing dishes. After having stood around for 10 minutes she finally yelled at me and another party that walked in that they had no clean dishes to do to go or dine in dishes so we needed to leave. That’s the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Waffle House.
