This cafe was very cozy and bigger than it looks! There is some street seating outside, a big open room in the front, a smaller quieter room in the back, and a large outdoor patio in the back! There were several people working on laptops, and others gathering socially. The staff were helpful at answering questions about the menu. The brown sugar poptart was delicious! I also enjoyed the Gold Hart latte, although it was VERY sweet! I am lactose intolerant, but they had plenty of milk alternative options for lattes. I also tried the drip coffee, and it was exceptional! I don't normally like black coffee, but their drip dark roast didn't need anything to make it tastier!
Something for everyone. White Hart has a good atmosphere with all the charm and conversation places you'd expect from a good coffee shop. The coffee is good enough to bring a coffee fanatic like me back. They have some great light roast coffees that really let the origin character of the bean shine.
Lovely place. Great food and coffee.
A hallmark of the town and the 'oldest' coffee shop around. Used to be a bookstore nextdoor that was combined - there's still some books on the shelves to read. The design isn't quite as vintage feeling as it used to be, but that doesn't take away from the quality. A great place to sit and meet with friends. The coffee's always strong, and there's different options rotating regularly. The service is always prompt and super consistent - everyone knows how to make a real cappucino. The food is great with some unique creations, but the breakfast items are what really shine, which is served all day, though its fairly high priced. Good selection of local and micro beers and local baked items. Seating is usually plentiful, including the back patio which is spacious and has a swing. Occassionally the wait can be long when it gets busy, but I think the best is done with the staff that's there. They have live music and trivia games fairly regularly; most of the musicians have been fantastic. For sure my favorite place to get a hot drink with friends in town. Won't stop coming back anytime soon.
I enjoyed my first visit to White Hart Cafe. The salad ingredients are extremely fresh. I asked the chef if the ingredients used are locally grown, and he said they try hard to use only local foods which is a huge plus in my book. The Chai tea and potato wedges were also delicious!! I like the laid back atmosphere of the Cafe, it has unique character and the staff are great. Pricing is decent and the selection of menu items is sufficient.
Great coffee, good food and a nice ambiance. Prices are reasonable and the staff has always been very pleasant. I highly recommend dropping in for a quick caffeine fix!
$8 for a latte with flavor and milk substitute. Normally I wouldn’t mind paying that amount, but there was absolutely no seating. They put the drink in a to-go cup even though I asked for it to be for here. Plus it was only 2pm and they were out of almost all their food items. I won’t be back anytime soon.
Comfortable, warm,, and friendly. Great cappuccino, lattes, ect. Baristas were friendly and knew what they were doing.
Great coffee shop! They have kombucha on tap. I had the pumpkin spice, and it was so good!! I also grabbed a gluten free apple cinnamon muffin, since they had them. It was tasty, but could have used more cinnamon. Hubby had a cortado, which he really liked. However, it did take some time to get on a busy Saturday morning. Allow time! The food looked delicious, but we didn’t have any. Loved the wing tip chairs in the windows! Very cool vibe!!
To be honest I was at the lamp shop next door. (McCraw's)The Cafe seems to be busy and the food looks good. I'd love to eat there one day.
