Suzaku has always been my go to place whenever I’m in town. The food selection has never been disappointing and the prices are always reasonable. The atmosphere has always been comfortable and the staff are super friendly.
I was out shopping and looking for Japanese food afterwards for Dinner. I googled and this place came up being 9 minutes away from my location and had 4 stars. I had not been there but decided to give it a try. The place was easy to find, with indoor dining and carry out. They were not overly busy- but steady. The Cashier was nice, and the menu had alot of choices. I placed my order and watched as most people were picking up called in orders- which after waiting for 45 minutes for my order - i understood. I ordered the shrimp tempura and California sushi, the chicken lo mein, and the shrimp egg rolls. The price was reasonable $24.00. The food was light, tasty and filling. A decent place, just be prepared to wait if you don't do a call in / pickup order
The lady who runs the place is one of the kindest people and their food is always fresh and Delicious. Highly recommend to any and everyone. Not to mention best boba tea in town!
Suzaku Cafe blew us away tonight. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by an infectious smile! We had trouble ordering, and the lady helped explain the menu. The food didn’t take long at all to come up. But they apologized for the wait and treated us to the below sugar doughnuts! Will definitely be back. Highly impressed with the service and taste of the food.

First time trying sushi and I absolutely loved it! Great service and very kind people working there! Also best bubble tea I’ve ever had! I’m not a big fan on tea so I’m very happy you can customize how you’d like your bubble tea! ?❤️

Support local business - their cost of products have increased, sometimes doubled, even tripled. A case of to-go containers cost $13.95 2 years ago now $52.95. Shortening 2 years ago $19.98 now $55
I've come here multiple times to get lo-mein during my time living in Lynchburg VA. I've also gotten poke and fried rice.Honestly this is some of the best Japanese food I've ever had at this price point. The food is an absolute top-notch bargain. Delicious. Staff here are so kind too! Not much else to say.
Fantastic food, and even better customer service. My partner and I were passing through town, and called 15 minutes before close. Not only did they take our order, they stayed open an extra five minutes for us to come get it. We got two poke bowls, a miso soup, and spring rolls, which were delicious! Would highly recommend.
