Absolutely AMAZING FOOD, service was GREAT, and just an overall amazing restaurant. One of my favs now!
We had a Wonderful experience here. The manager Marcus was so friendly and helpful. He really made our dinner amazing! The chicken is delicious and so well flavored and the fries were great!! Everything was perfectly cooked. This is a fairly new location that also serves the university population so it is currently a hidden gem but i expect it to take off. Great food! Great service and very clean! This was an excellent restaurant!
The team at Slim Chickens was amazing! They catered our our box for our daughter's graduation. Sarah and James and the rest of the team went out of their way to make the occasion special. The food was great. Highly recommended.
Food was hot when I got it and service was decent. The food while fresh and hot, wasn't that great. I've had better at Hardees which isn't saying much. The breading on the tenders was pretty BLAND. They were also small, meaning the thinner pieces got over cooked/rubbery. The ranch was watery which meant it was also kinda bland. The fries while cooked well, were just so so.
There has never been worst service then this place. Waited 30+ minutes for a milkshake just to tell me they are all out. The incompetence of the workers show

The building is nicely renovated and they have nice seating and good food (for what you pay). However, they struggle to handle things when it gets really busy. More often than not, when I go in with multiple people we will sit down, wait for 15-30 min for our food, and then when it comes often one person's meal is left out or there's some confusion. Their systems seem inefficient which leads to employees wandering around with your order into all corners of the restaurant, even while you're sitting with your table number clearly displayed at the end of your table. This isn't the fault of the employees, they do their best and are often nice and friendly and hard working. It is the fault of the system. For me I feel this creates an atmosphere of hectic busyness. I don't feel like I can relax until I get my food because I feel I have to make sure they see the number and that I answer if they call out for it, so the first 20-40 min is uncomfortable waiting all for 15 min of eating normally before you head out to let the hoard of people waiting at the door in to have a turn. Not my cup of tea, but it is one of the more enticing food options for a plus swipe, so I see the appeal for sure.
So glad there is an alternative to Chick-fil-A and Zaxby's in Lynchburg now. Serves LU but also the public. Drive through also coming soon!! Mac and cheese here is so good. Highly recommend.
Employees were friendly. We wanted to done in, but they were closing earlier than posted hours due to the holiday break. I was looking forward to okra but they didn't have it at this location. Our food was fresh.
The food hits different SHOUTOUT to the nightshift cus the food always hits the spot for those late nights with my friends!!
