This place is the bomb! Always a great place to get cheap great tasting Japanese food. A college student favorite, I recommend just going with the teriyaki chicken, you can’t go wrong with it!
Very good Japanese food fast and courteous employees. Always eat chicken teriyaki and wife gets filet. We go there once or twice a month. Always enjoyable
I stopped here because of the rating and I was less than impressed with my choice. I'm not sure what the area has to offer as far as decent Japanese food but this isn't it. I gave this establishment 2 stars because the chicken teriyaki dish was far from what I'm used to eating. The chicken was chewy and had a weird flavor. The vegetables were soggy as if they were dipped from a pot and the yum yum sauce had no taste. Needless to say I threw my food away. I also ordered a Philadelphia roll which can't really be messed up and it was okay. I've been to many hole in the walls because some of the best food can be served there but I was wrong this time.
I've been to this restaurant several times over the years and not sure what the hype is all about. I've had their teriyaki chicken, steak, shrimp and some of their sushi rolls and they are not that impressive at all. The only reason why I go there is out of convenience since I live so close to the restaurant. Overall, food is average and definitely not something I would go out of my way to get.
It’s good. But very salty. I had the teriyaki chicken and almost didn’t finish it because of just how salty it was. Rice was excellent and the vegetables were great as well. I understand it’s cheap food and for the price I probably shouldn’t be complaining but I’d love for the salt content to be reduced.
