I have not been to any Olive Garden in a while and given this recent experience I am unlikely to go back again. We arrived around 5:00 this evening and waited around 20 minutes to be seated, which is understandable given we had a party of 8 with a toddler. After that however, the service was not understandable. Our food took well over an hour to arrive after ordering and our waitresses service was lackluster at best, having us distribute drinks, salad and soup across the table, making serval remarks about how busy she was and for some reason letting us know on at least two occasions that she couldn’t afford her rent. The food was what to be expected of an Olive Garden: marginal Italian food at a reasonable price. May need to raise the food prices to help their wait staff or hire more professional employees.

We have eaten at Olive Garden for years but our last experience was not good. We have always had amazing waiters and waitresses but tonight our waitress acted like it was an inconvenience to go get us another salad, and breadsticks. Well last time I checked soup, salad and breadsticks were unlimited. It's a shame it has now became our least favorite place.

Update: all soups are frozen!!!! Most all of the items are frozen. Won't be returning to pay money for the same food i can buy and supermarket and cook myself...cheaper!. When you pay for it, it should be better than what u can make yourself... just my opinion. It's okay. We go there often. The minestrone was way too salty last time but the service is good and pricing is fair, I suppose.

I love eating here! Food is always good and fast. Breadsticks are to die for, we come in to see josh the bartender he is amazing and always seems to be the one keeping things running in that place. Keep up the good work!

For a chain restaurant that is American-Italian the food is consistent and service good!

Celebrated our Anniversary today with a late lunch. The food was great and our server, Nicole, was outstanding. Highly recommend both!

The food was good but our waitress, Jennifer, left a lot to be desired. We were a young table, and I honestly think she didn't think there would be a tip. She was cold and unhelpful, got annoyed with us twice (once about helping her place a dish where she couldn't reach). She left a dark place on our otherwise nice family lunch.

The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The man who was our waiter was so nice. Definitely get the spinach gnocchi and watermelon sangria. It’s super affordable as well.

I ate by myself at this Lynchburg Olive Garden. I’ve been here multiple times. I won’t return after my last visit. They treated me so disrespectfully, and they were cold towards me. The waitress had the personality of a damp dish towel, first off. Secondly, she asked if I have a significant other… I replied “I’ve been married for 30 years.” She laughed, and told me “That’s doubtful.” She went on to say “You probably have never been married, you’re always alone.”I eat alone because it’s what I like to do, not because I’m not married. That’s uncalled for and inappropriate to say that, plus I’m probably 40+ years this young woman’s senior. People have lost their minds to say stuff like that!

We have a great time here at this restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful. Also our waiter was Michael. He is an outstanding asset to this business.
