Don't waste your hard earned money here!!! (Moe's)Spent 15 bucks and did not get a portion comparable to my price. - I don't recommend this location.... You have to pay first then wait for them to sham you and even ask for a tip up front before you get the service. Smh.... I will show you a bowl I purchased from Chipotle in NC...... A real bowl that was 11 bucks.** My Pic is Chipotle!!! **
1.) came in for my husbands birthday to get a free burrito - they couldn’t get the app to work and refused to give us a free burrito (even with proof that it was his birthday) so it was frustrating not being accommodated for that.2.) tried to pay with my rewards on my app but they already tried scanning my husbands app so the computer wouldn’t take mine. The cashier told me he would have to completely ring up the order again if I wanted to use my rewards and seemed very annoyed doing so3.) both my husband and I asked for guac on our burritos, cashier confirmed we wanted guac, told the person making them we wanted guac and we both had no guac on our burritos4.) employee screamed “it’s hot as balls in here”5.) manager couldn’t be bothered to help at the register and cashier had to keep running back and forth to try to get things fixed6.) out of ground beef (on a Thursday… at 4 pm… how?) and sour cream
It's true, this location has had its issues, but...seems like changes in staff and standards have improved the situation. Got a spicy chicken bowl today...it was fantastic. Salad part was fresh and clean, spicy chicken has good heat on it. Store was cleaner than it has been before. So, y'all keep a clean store, serve fresh clean food with friendly service and I'll be back.
My burrito had a gross hair in it. The employee tried to convince me the hair was cheese. Good luck with that. Lynchburg Moe's is no good.
Received the incorrect order. They corrected it but gave us attitude and the order was served cold. I was treating my father to his birthday lunch. He has eaten at many Moe’s locations, he said this one is bottom of the barrel. He asked to speak to the manager. The girl told him “The manager is too busy for you.” And told him “Call corporate.” We don’t want to go through the hassle of calling corporate so we will chalk this up to a lesson learned. I suggest avoiding this Wards Road Moes location.
I’ve lived in Lynchburg nearly all my life and had never heard of this place until I started working in the area recently… Since then I’ve been on several occasions; service was always good and the good is good and fresh
Used the website for a simple order of one burrito and one bowl. Placed order at 12:02 pm with estimated delivery at 12:40. Notification that Doordash was picking my order up at 12:50. Notification that order had been cancelled with no reason at 1:03 pm. Called the store and was on hold for 15 minutes before I gave up.
Paltry portions of meat with any entree. Hard grains of rice in bowl.
Pretty sad experience with this Moe's. We should have known when we walked in and they didn't say "welcome to Moe's" that something was off.We ordered to go and found an exploded burrito leaking everywhere, a homewrecker bowl missing the requested guac and brown cilantro, and a quesadilla that was uncut. No fork added to the bag either for the bowl.I know Moe's is great, but definitely would never stop at this one again and want to warn other travelers.
