I usually have good experiences here, but today I ordered my ice cream on a sugar cone (as always). When I received my cone, it was a waffle cone. The server said that it was not a waffle cone, and that only the cones that they hand make are waffle cones. My frustration is based on the fact that she thought I was dumb enough to accept that as an explanation, as if the texture and shape alone didn't clearly make it a waffle cone. I told her that the last times, I was told that the thin wafer cone was the sugar cone. She said she was sorry, but she did not offer to correct it. I had not taken a bite, so it would not have been an issue to correct that mistake. I do not like waffle cones at all, particularly because of the texture, so I paid for a product that I had no chance of enjoying. I did not wish to upset anyone's day over a cone, but hopefully someone will read this and teach the basics of good customer service and rectifying mistakes.
Amazing little ice cream shop! Would visit again! Did their best to make orders even with half power.
Been coming here for ice cream for years. Their portions are generous, so order accordingly. The ice cream is on point and have plenty of options. Always a smiling face with great service!
The downtown location takes a bit longer to get out orders than the Boonsboro one but I’ll wait however long it takes for one of their shakes (the best ones are the cookie butter, cherry, and dreamsicle!)
Amazing ice cream and in the perfect spot to then go sit outside and enjoy and watch people go by and listen to the sounds of downtown ?
Always a great experience here! Their mixers are my favorite but their rolled ice cream and their hard ice cream flavors are also spot on. I’ve been here several times when the line has been long and have been consistently surprised how fast the service is. Very impressed and I can tell the owner does a great job training his employees. Customer service is excellent.

Delicious! Highly recommended. We have never had rolled ice cream and it was fantastic! There was a live demonstration of how they make it. The service is friendly and I appreciated the cashier was very contentious of my daughter who mentioned she had a peanut allergy. He told her what to order that would be safe for her. This was one of my highlights of visiting lynchburg.
So so delicious. Great service. Good options. Clean. Enough seating.
