The food was unappetizing and disappointing from the dry sausage patties to the oil drenched red potatoes to the peculiar taste of the "stuffed" French toast. The reason for the 1-star is due to the service, the bacon and the waffle, which made the experience decent. Our server was pretty good. The best part of the food is when we left. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles, which wasn't as expected, as it was 2 chicken tenders atop a buttermilk waffle. The stuffed French toast left much to be desired. It didn't taste good at all. The "roasted" potatoes weren't good either. The cranberry mango mimosa and hot cocoa left a lot to be desired. Ironically, as we were leaving, the group in front of us made comments that their food wasn't good, too.
The people were really nice. I liked the atmosphere a whole lot. The food was not top notch. I went with a friend and my food tasted like it maybe went bad so I didn't even finish it and my friend's chicken was rock hard so she was unable to finish it as well. Might give it another try one day.
Excellent atmosphere. The building is an older one in the downtown district. The staff are stellar and always have good suggestions. The food is awesome. I have never got anything that didn't deliver. Make sure you save room for the carrot cake! They also have many options for craft beer.A must if your in Lynchburg, and hungry!
We got the brisket stroganoff and sweet slaw. It was delicious! Great alternative when Old Colony Smokehouse is closed.
Very unique & friendly atmosphere. The menu has a lot of delicious variety. I had a difficult time choosing, ha. Very delicious. Enjoy
I had the chicken salad sandwich with fries. Came there at lunch on a Sunday and it was hopping!! Busy busy but service was still great! Not too loud but loud enough that it's good for families and groups. My fries could have been fresher and my chicken salad had onions (which I should have asked!) but overall, a good meal. Others' meals in my group looked tasty! Would definitely go back!
Market at Main is becoming a go to breakfast spot. I really enjoy their sweet potato pancakes and today I had a pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich that was good. I was excited to see pork roll on the specials list since that's not something you typically find around here.
A great spot in the middle of the city. Fantastic breakfast options and would definitely recommend going in the mornings if you are in the area. Not a bad atmosphere to eat in. I'll definitely be back!!
Some of the best customer service I've had in years! Great staff!
Food was good and arrived promptly. (Especially the fried apples... Mmmmmmmmmmmm!)Service was friendly, though we weren't offered any drink refills. Also surprised they offered veggie sausage patties (Morningstar brand) and gluten free toast options! Clean and comfortable, I'd say we'd likely stop by again if we're in the area.
