A beautiful place with very friendly staff, but that is all it has going for this shop. The food was mediocre at best, the coffee wasn't as good as I had hoped and it was more expensive than it should be.
A quaint place to stop and get breakfast! Simple Starbucks coffee, but with a different taste. Their tomato quiche is to die for, I could eat a whole tin for myself. Absolutely loved this place and will return promptly.
The cappuccino is the worst I have ever tried…
They had great salads to grab quickly for lunch. They also make a wonder decaf latte!
We love the Virginian Hotel! The marigold is a nice space to grab coffee and a quick bite for breakfast, but the barristas seem a bit dour. Maybe it's a Gen Z thing. Also, the espresso drinks had a chlorine taste, presumably from the water.
We enjoyed a lite breakfast at the Marigold during our staycation at the Virginian. The coffee is strong and of good quality. My quiche was delicious.

This is located within The Virginian hotel. The coffee is good but service can be slow. The food there is best passed on. I got a vanilla latte iced which was good and in line with what you would pay at a starbucks. I also ordered a blueberry scone which I did not request heated as I assumed coming out of the display case would be around room temperature or refrigerated. It was frozen which unfortunately I did not notice until I left the restaurant so i had to wait quite a while to eat it for it to thaw. In fairness I did not ask for it to be heated so I can only be mad I wasn't informed they were quite cold. Next time I will go down to the riverwalk for coffee.
The windows make for some gorgeous lighting and a beautiful setting to work out of or make art. Coffee is really good and the staff is friendly.
