We arrived at 12:55 on a Sunday afternoon and we were seated immediately and received our order in a timely manner. The waitress was nice, smiling and very helpful. The food was delicious. We had a great experience!
I'd give this a 10. The pizzas are huge and price is good. A 16" pizza would feed my 2 teen sons and husband and me. Got the steak pizza - delish! And the grilled shrimp and cauliflower rice special was very good - tons of shrimp. The very friendly owner came around to the tables to greet people and ask how everything was. Our server, Raven, did a super job answering questions and serving us. I was surprised at how quickly our food was served. We'll definitely be back.
We were visiting from Florida and needed a place that was gluten free friendly. This place was fantastic! Food was great, hospitality was amazing, and the price was right!! Shout out to Tatiana, who took awesome care of us! Wish you had this in Florida, we'd see you weekly!
Not good. For starters the calamari was devoid of any seasoning though the marinara was not bad. The breadsticks had to be requested even though they were supposed to come with the entry. When they arrived they were way underdone and doughy. The entrees were worse. I had the muscles linguini and three of the muscles did not open. The sign of a bad muscle. The sauce was OK but the pasta had been cooked well. My wife ordered the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were tiny and had been frozen. The sauce was not good, not buttery and there was little sign of garlic. For the plus side, the waitor did an excellent job.
Should have seen the red flag when I saw a keto menu at an Italian restaurant. Got a Philly and the meat used I could tell was out too long before being cooked. When the meat has been sitting too long it cooks extremely dry and bland and smells awful.
Have been eating here regularly for years. Lately the portion are getting smaller and the prices have increased about 30%. Pizza was burnt the last two times. Wait staff is very good but we won't be back as often.
The pizza is pretty decent but the Philly cheese steak sub was atrocious. I literally took one bite out of it and it tasted like old raw onions. I love onions and I always get them on everything I eat but this experience was completely different. They had to be old because the smell of rotten onions filled over the whole table. The waiter never even asked why I didn't eat more than one bite, even when he came and cleared away the plates. I am not one to complain so I didn't comment on it but I didn't really have much of an opportunity bc the waiter only came to the table once more to bring the check, tell us to pay at the register, and buss the table. An unbothered server and rotten onions ruined my La Villa experience :(
Oh my gosh.. I searched Lynchburg for Tarimsu for my Mom's 90th birthday in the final hours someone suggested La Villa.. ran over an the graciously said yes we can make a tray come back in 2 hours it will be ready... It was delicious and Mom was surprised ?
Best Italian in Lynchburg!Mike and his team are so friendly and welcoming!Their food is delicious, and they have a ton of options!!And if you are gluten-free, definitely a safe, tasty option!!
Never in my life have I been treated at a restaurant the way I was treated tonight at La Villa’s. First by the so called manager then the owner Mike. Sorry Mike but no I don’t have to understand that the staff you have are young and have to put up with them being rude to the customer. Standing around and not doing there job and then I get up from my table to ask for the service I deserve, and then being confronted by the manager saying I was rude for doing that. She then ask me if I needed to removed from the restaurant and I replied sure if you need to. Then she asked me if she needed to call the owner and I replied sure go ahead we know Mike. So 5 minutes or so go by and Mike shows up and comes straight to my table. Telling my wife and I and a guest of ours that I was wrong for getting up and asking for the service we pay for ( and by the way all I did was get up and ask for bread for our table since pasta was served at our table). I see I’m getting long winded here. So I’ll end this by saying I will NEVER, EVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME THERE. Sorry Mike loved your food and hospitality there months ago, but it seems you have changed.
