What a busy place! No wonder - as we were leaving Lynchburg we had a hankering for good coffee (not Starbucks), and this appeared to be the place - always a little gunshy about trying new coffee so we ordered smaller sizes that we instantly regretted! I had a very traditional Vanilla Latte and it was perfection! I hate that you guys are nearly 300 miles from my home and my last family member just graduated from the University nearby - but, if I am ever in your area you’re going to see me again. I am dreaming Joe Bean’s and have talked it up so much the last few days!Y’all were busy, but everyone in that little “hut” was hustling and bringing their “A” game - no eye rolls, tsks, under the breath remarks for unsophisticated pronunciation of a coffee order - or dealing with pouty baristas judging everyone that comes in for a brew. What a relief to find great coffee served with a smile and a thank you!
Solid coffee shop with fast service at average prices. I will likely make this a regular stop on my way over to the lake.
Finally stopped here for the first time, even though I've been passing this place for years. There are always cars for a reason. Cute little coffee shack, reasonably priced cup of joe, good quality, and friendly staff.

Honestly, this spot has some of the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had, including in Belgium. So glad we pulled over on our road trip for this! Coffee was great too.
This is an required stop for all visitors. They have extremely strong coffee, their blended mocha is chuck full of strong coffee. Their regular coffee is strong too! As a strong coffee lover this place is a must!
My son and I LOVE them. We take a thirty minute trip from Chatham pretty frequently to get us some coffee and hot chocolate. Always friendly and the drinks are delicious.
Good coffee on a cold morning. A little light on flavor from the espresso. Definitely better than Starbucks as far as what we ordered in our opinion.
Really bad long term patron. Always have had a great experience. Today was different ordered Decaf Almond Milk Frozen Bunny Hop waited for 3 remakes and all were bad undrinkable. Have ordered the same drink at Appomattox , Timberlake, this location and Altavista in the past for around 2 years. Not sure what the issue was today. I did get a refund but that was it.
We went today and the list they have for smoothies and shakes looks interesting. My daughter has to buy something. So I will try there smoothie.
