Tried their cocktail flight, which was delicious! Good value for $16 I think. Also tried the peach/mango sangria, which was good, and the slider appetizers (the burgers w fries and chicken sandwich w sweet potato fries). Everything tasted great, the chicken had a good heat to them and their fries are fantastic! Definitely would try them again. The restaurant is really lovely too, good atmosphere and a great place to just grab a drink and chill.

This was the first time the fiancé and I went. We wanted to eat somewhere different. They have a very unique menu for Lynchburg. There are items on their menu that you will not fine anywhere else. They have inside or outdoor seating and they also have an upstairs for seating. They were pretty friendly and we got our food fairly quickly. The food for the most part was 8/9 out of 10 in my opinion. My other half said his food was also really good. We will be coming back to eat. I gave it a 4 because I don't feel that their is really anything for kids if a family or group with kids came in. I know, my preteen son would have a hard time finding something on the menu. So, with that in mind, it is perfect for adults on a date, a group of friends, college or older teens. The prices are not that bad either compared to places like Applebee's, Logan's or similar places. Definitely a place for us to have a nice date night or date day and do girl's day lunch.

I enjoyed this place. My husband brought me here in celebration of a major milestone with some family members.. The food and drinks were awesome the only issue that I had was the risotto was undercooked and crunchy I couldn't eat that but the flavor was good tho lol. I switched it out with the green beans and man were they delicious. I can't remember the names of all the dishes we Had but they all was good. I think I tasted everybody's food. The best part for me was the live music and fire pits the atmosphere was amazing and welcoming

Five starts for above average service, food, and selection. The good: like the title says, above average food quality, above average service, and above average selection of types of food. Their Ahi Avocado was splendid and the Blackened Swordfish was great. The meh: prices are fairly high. You'll likely have to wait for a table at normal prime times. The bad: none.

WOW! We stumbled into this place while driving by. From the time we walked in we felt welcome. The waiting time was 45 minutes unless we wanted to sit at the bar. We chose the bar and what an excellent choice. Danielle and Miranda were the bar tenders. Miranda turned out to be our bartender and I can’t begin to tell you what a great experience we had. Very attentive, friendly and on top of any request we had. When she was busy Danielle didn’t hesitate to help us. The food was excellent. My husband had the cast iron cod, which came with shrimp, scallops and 2 sides. I had the surf and turf was a flat iron steak with bacon wrapped shrimp which also came with 2 sides. The sautéed mushrooms were so delicious I could have just had those as a meal had it been offered. The fried brussel sprouts where some of the best we’ve had. Definitely recommend going there.

Ladies weekend and we stopped here for lunch. Excellent experience. We all got cocktail flights which could have been very annoying to our server but she was super nice and generous with her patience. Everyone enjoyed the food. My Bourbon chicken was delicious. Clean bathrooms and great place for pictures.

This review is bumped significantly up because the restaurant remedied the following situation—Pictured, reduced names, are (1) crab cheese dip, (2) mango chicken, and (3) fried tomatoes. The fried tomatoes with goat cheese and marmalade were fantastic (if small in portion, even for an appetizer, compared the the price). The crab meat dip was a joke—“roasted” tomatoes were just cherry tomatoes, chips instead of pita bread, lumps of cheese instead of a well-mixed blend. The mango chicken was dry, difficult to chew, and nearly flavorless without the mango salsa to go on top of it.Overall, the food was certainly a disappointment.HOWEVER—upon reaching out to I&A (two different calls, but that wasn’t entirely their fault), the manager issued me a refund for the crab meat dip and mango chicken. They tried their best to remedy my experience. That means a lot, and I assume, based on their readiness to fix things, that my experience was not the norm for them.I shall return there to give them another shot, this time in-store instead of takeout.

We wanted to find a sports bar to watch a game tonight. This place was AMAZING; the food blew us away! There are so many creative items on the menu as well as some tried and true favorites. I appreciated their selection of delicious sangrias. The potato skins hit the spot! The steak salad was perfect. We splurged on a lemon blueberry crème brûlée (again, a unique flavor you don’t see often)… SO GOOD!!I want to come back someday and try other things on the menu. They have such a creative selection of veggie sides that sound so good also.It was super busy on a Friday night and we only found seats at the bar. But the bartender lady was super sweet and very speedy and attentive. This place is a solid 5-star establishment !

I was looking forward to dining at Iron and Ale and had heard positive reviews from others, including family members. The restaurant is pleasant and spacious with two level dining as well as some outdoor seating. The menu for lunch and for dinner was fairly extensive so it shouldn't be hard to find a choice. I selected a turkey club and sweet potato fries for a lunch. Sandwiches and burgers come with choice of one side. I'm not a fussy eater, but this was the worst club I can recall. The turkey looked and tasted like outdated deli meat with a little slime, the dressing was thick and made everything soggy and not tasty, and the bread was overly toasted. The sweet potato fries were okay but not nearly as good as some I recently had elsewhere. My friend had a burger and said it was tasty. I ate my meal and didn't complain. After all, what can one say, "you can't make a decent sandwich?"? I will consider a return visit and give the place another chance, but I certainly will avoid their club sandwich.

This was our first time, and it could not have been a better visit. The restaurant was busy, but they took the time to treat us very well. Our server Miranda was excellent without over servicing us. The food was by far excellent. We had the mozzarella spinach sticks as an appetizer, and it is a must try when you come. I had the tequila mango chicken, while my wife had the pork kabobs. Both meals were very good and the portions were also well worth the price. Overall it was a very good first visit, and we will return.
