Birthday dinner with my husband at the Depot.The restaurant has a unique atmosphere.We had good size portions.The Santa Fe Chicken was really good and I would definitely order it again.The veggies seemed very fresh, but didn’t have a lot of flavor.And the server was not too friendly.Overall though, it was a good experience.
We enjoyed a dinner here. The location was large, but not too noisy. Our server, Frank, was pleasant and the food was delicious. Portions were good and prices were fair; all and all, a good value.
Dined with my family there recently. Thanks to the wait staff for making our visit extra special with friendly service and prompt attention. Our small kids loved playing with crayons and paper on the table. The dining room is huge allowing for plenty of space between tables. Our favorite dish is the Buffalo burger. Thanks a great meal
The best chicken tenders in town for sure! Family atmosphere, they have brown paper on the tables and offer crayons for the kids (or yourself) to draw on the paper while you wait. Trains pass by on a regular basis and the kids love it! You can see the train tracks from most of the tables. Definitely recommend!
Found this place on trip advisor. The food was delicious. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is we did sit with empty cups for half our meal. But, that’s not the end of the world. The location is pretty, good ambiance, and good portion sizes. Our server recommended Parmesan crusted chicken and it did not disappoint! Good for a date but also good for families. Mix of 2 seater booths (with church pew style benches) and large tables.
The food! Beef and Cheddar pretzel melt was delicious. Get a beer flight to taste the different brews they offer. Server was awesome!
Th location is on a nice view of the James River and the actual restaurant is really nice. I had the sweet and spicy fried srimp along with the fried oysters and they were delicious. I sat at the bar and the service was great! Nowadays good service is hard to find.
GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE!! THE MENU HAS A WIDE VARIETY OF ITEMS AS WELL!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!
I took my family here for the first time tonight. How have I never been here before?? We had a great experience! First of all their chicken wings stand up with anybody in town! Their chicken tenders are outstanding! My wife got a chicken and shrimp pasta that she couldn't even eat half of. I got a local beer flight of IPAs for $7!? Crazy! We finished up with their version of a brownie pie. We had incredible first class service, exceptional good, and very reasonable prices. Can't wait to spend my hard earned money with them again! 10 stars if I could!
If was a great experience, nice atmosphere. Waiter was wonderful. It wasn't loud inside so you could hear each other talk. You got enough food for 2 meals. 5 stars
