The cashier was, hands down, one of the nicest I have encountered. The rest of the workers were dressed in dirty clothes, a young girl came into the store (not working that shift) and walked right back into the cooking area without hesitation. She then hugged several people behind the counter. *any health code violations there?? They were out of the item I wanted but we all found some sort of ice cream. It was made quickly and sent out. The apparent? Manager on duty was trying to clean up and appeared stressed, but then was nice when giving out our order. We left immediately when we realized the lobby was closing but there was a large, newly graduated group still eating and talking. I'm not sure I would eat there...but the ice cream was good.
I had heard this location had gone to the dogs. I should have listened. A peanut buster parfait is 3 layers of HOT FUDGE and peanuts and 3 of soft serve. What I received was 1pump of chocolate sauce that was 1/3 on the bottom, no nuts, drizzled on the side. With the remainder of the pump on top with nuts. There was not a middle layer. I handed it back through the window said it’s wrong. Ditzy window person handed it off to a woman who added the soft serve curl to the top of the ice cream and handed it back. My husband said let’s just go. We shouldn’t have to beg to expect something be made as advertised and be given what was paid for. Now it’s a few days later and I see an automated scripted response. Fix the problem, lip service is pointless.
I got there at around 10:45AM, and they were supposed to have opened at 10:30. Well, I would presume that employees had to get there sooner than that to ensure that everything was ready to start producing orders at 10:30. Upon entering I was immediately informed that their fryer was not working, so they could not make French fries, crispy chicken sandwiches, or chicken strips. So immediately, half of my planned order was not available. Anyway, I got 3 of the new stack burgers ( 2 Bacon Two Cheese Deluxes and 1 Flamethrower) that are currently featured menu items. I got these and the burgers were ok, but that's all, ok. The onion on mine was like rubber, and I could barely bite through it, but the other condiments and the burgers themselves were all right. I thought they were too expensive for what I got though.
I ordered a cake online with a confirmation email of the total price. It was $6 more when I picked it up. I was told the prices went up and they hadn't updated the website and they couldn't change the price. The lower price was taped on the cake box! No customer service whatsoever! We purchase ice cream cakes there frequently, but not anymore. Will not go back.
First off place has horrible customer service. Secondly I was served rotten ranch dressing, when I brought them back to one of the workers she irritably said “we make our own ranch and sometimes it needs to be mixed up” and replaced them with 2 others and walked away. I opened those and they were spoiled as well. Ranch gets curdled when it goes bad not when it needs to be mixed up. You need to look at the shelf life of your “homemade ranch”
Had a burger that was exactly like in and out burger in California, the best ever and the soft serve dipped in chocolate so delicious,,, the best part was the attentiveness of the employees, that place is a hidden gem in Lynchburg , they are to be congratulated on a great job!!!♥️
The absolute worst dairy queen I have EVER been to. I went through the drive through and waited on a simple plain hotdog and order of fries for 20 minutes. When I FINALLY got my order my fries were cold and hotdog bun was soggy. Guy in the window was not friendly at all, staff appeared to be horse playing instead of ensuring I was taking care of. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN
Beyond poor service. Staff too busy screwing around in back to correctly assemble not one meal but both not once but twice did I have to go back in. First they leave off an entire meal off our order because they don't pay attention after confirming both meals twice over the speaker. We decide not to give them more money and add the second meal on the first time they screw up. The bring out my screwed up good and this time it's missing an item entirely. Little baby boy inside was totally useless and manager would rather berate me than advise their staff they shouldn't make numerous mistakes on a single order. Definitely suggest corporate as well as health services come check this place out considering i have a friend who works there and I know for a fact there are places that should be sanitary that have never been cleaned.
Usually a very long wait, not too bad tonight. Is there a reason the sign is NEVER lit nor the sign on the building?
Very polite employees at the Timberlake Road Dairy Queen. Very happy with all the experiences I’ve had at this location thus far.
