Awful experience, ordered around 2pm 2 chicken tender dinners to pick up at 6. At 5:30 revived a text it was being made. When I got there I confirmed I was here. Through a link texted to me No one came out for 15 ish minutes so we went in. Lady said she didn’t see order We gave her all the information. And she said she has gotten it. She re took the order just to be safe and make sure she has everything right. After sitting in the parking lot from 6-7:51 pm they decided to tell us no one told the cook, so no food… I’ve never eaten here before and was excited to try. Never again. Ridiculous customer service. Awful experience. All of the is over some chicken tenders.
Nice food and great service
Nice homey feel to meal. Had to ask for things but server was cheerful. Chicken pot pie was a bit salty and light in filling. Shallow dish mostly gravy and crust. Maybe one carrot. One dark brown potato chunk looked more like mushroom but wasn’t. Chicken was tender. A few peas. Was able to order gluten free grilled chicken and baked potato for family member. Friendly Mgr came by table side. Roast beef tender. Cole slaw excellent flavor and we are picky with PA Dutch taste. Very nice tea half half with lemons. Corn bread cold but we appreciated apple butter. Overall nice meal!
We arrived about 11:00 in the morning. There was already about a 15 minute wait to get a table. We never mind await because the store is always a delight to go through and we most always find something we have to have!We each ordered Grandma's breakfast sampler. our scrambled eggs with cheese were done to perfection, The pancakes were definitely made to order because the edges were delightfully crisp. Our hash brown casserole was fresh and delicious and meats were juicy. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. This cracker barrel which is not accessible to any interstate is wonderful. Place to eat home cooking. You won't be sorry!
Great service. Everything arrived quickly and was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend the Lynchburg Lemonade for adults.
The fire place was lit for a cozy atmosphere. The service was quick and the meals were very tasty. our family had a good experience.

This was the worst food we have ever had at Cracker Barrel. We ordered a sampler which comes with meatloaf, ham, and dumplings. The three sides we chose was Mac n cheese, hash brown casserole, and a salad. The food came before the salad. The salad was missing bacon and croutons. They said they were out of them but did not bother to tell us until we asked. The ham was burnt. The Mac n cheese had some burnt/black in it. They said they baked it so it sometimes has some color. Black/burnt is not color. The hash brown casserole was cold and not in a bowl. It was just thrown on the plate on top of the ham. There were hardly any dumplings in the bowl. We were told it was the normal amount. The biscuits were even browned and almost burnt. My mom and I have ordered this 4-5 times and have never had problems with the food. We were not offered fresh food and not offered a discount. After this visit, I’m not sure we will even be back. It’s a shame too because this was one of our favorite places to eat.
Visit this place a couple times a year. Food is OK but to me not allot of taste. My favorite thing about eating here is the store. Absolutely Beautiful things you can't find around here. On the money on 2-10-22. Got a few things!!
We arrived at 235 and were advised of a 25 minute wait. No worries. We were sat at 255. We had one server who took our drink orders and then she informed us we were going to have a new server. Several other tables were sat at the same time or after and they received their food, ate and left. We still had not received our food. We finally received our food about 4pm. My macaroni was burnt as well as my burger patty(hamburger steak). When I advised the manager of what had happened. He asked me with an attitude "what would you like me to do? " I usually live Cracker Barrels food. I understand being short staffed but the whole visit was ridiculous! And the treatment from the manager was horrible! Own up to your mistakes, they happen, don't be rude about it. I will not be returning!
