I’ve just moved away from Virginia back to my hometown of Texas. The one thing that I miss most (other than family and friends) is blue ridge bagels. I could go over there in the morning and know id get the best gluten free bagel in the world and not get sick. The servers are all so friendly, and Mr. Kane (Cain?) is such an awesome owner.I haven’t tried any of the items that aren’t gluten-free, but given the quality of everything I’ve tasted, I’d wager it’s incredible too.Highly recommend a stop by blue ridge bagels if you’re in town (or maybe even if you’re not).
Despite being a busy graduation weekend the service for our called in to-go order was timely & the food was great! We enjoyed lox bagels & oreo donuts! Yummmmm! Highly suggest this mom & pop shop. Great people behind the counters, too!
The breakfast bagel sandwiches were very tasty! Ready when we got there and I really appreciated how the online ordering was set up. Very affordable and customizable which was great. Word of warning the iced coffee was really sweet (and I usually order 2x sweet and 2x cream).
Stopped for a quick breakfast with a friend: we both ordered a bagel with house-made cream cheese with a coffee. The bagel was wonderful, and the cream cheese really stood out. I had a French toast bagel with the cranberry almond honey cheese-amazing. Coffee was ok, nothing exceptional, but ok. Limited parking in their lot, but the traffic seemed to constantly be moving. It wasn’t packed, but certainly a steady stream of customers while we were there.
Heard many good things about this place so had to come by and try it out. I ordered the Bully bagel sandwich and it was amazing! Perfect blend of flavors! My wife got the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and liked it as well. Very friendly owner and staff. Prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and I hope to be back!
Wonderful friendly local shoppe offering truly fresh made bagels! Gluten free options as well! So many nice cream cheese flavors and sandwich varieties! The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
TL/DR: We love Blue Ridge Bagels. Took a recommendation to come check it out while we were on campus at LU for College For A Weekend and it didn't disappoint. Worth the short trip to get here.Why My Rating?Group Size: We typically come in with 4-8 people with us. It never takes long to be served.Food: The bagels are top notch. The breakfast sandwiches are just what you'd hope. We've only been in the morning so I can't speak from experience on lunch items but have heard the same. Will be trying soon.Location: On Leesville Rd as you get close to Waterlick. Parking is tight in front but plenty on sides.Staff: The staff is always welcoming and helpful.Atmosphere: I love this place. It is comfortable and feels like a sweet hometown breakfast place. Recent upgrades have only made it easier to navigate the menu. Delicious bagels, bagel sandwiches, and cream cheeses. Their options of cream cheese or numerous and exceptional! They are popular for their iced coffee. It is yummy and very sweet. Quick service, moderate amount of seating. Outdoor seating.
I got the lox sandwich with the potato salad. It was amazing and fresh. Everything tasted great. They have a sun dried tomato bagel which is not something you see often.The real treat here is the donuts. They are homemade and you can taste it. I'm a donut fanatic, and these are some of the best donuts I've ever had. Dunkin and Krispy have nothing on these guys. The donuts are little pricey, but for the quality and freshness it's worth it to treat yourself.
I love blue ridge bagels ? amazing breakfast sandwiches and doughnuts although they were out of filled doughnuts, but they’re doing the best they can during this pandemic. Great quality food, friendliness, and customer service.
