Got dinner here tonight. I got chicken broccoli Alfredo, God but not enough sauce. My son got a burger but I didn’t hear back from him so I guess it was alright. So yes, I would eat here again but not too soon!! On the money on 3-15-22. look at this picture of seafood my son has!!
We were seated immediately which doesn’t always happen because there are five of us. Morgan was our waitress and she was awesome! The food was great and the portions were large. Great specials at a fair price!
Applebee's may as well be granted a historical landmark plaque. It's been a staple of Lynchburg for as long as I can remember. Their quality had fallen off over the years, but after a 5 year hiatus I decided to give them another try. The service was great, food was very good and they had $1.50 PBR. What else is there to say? Very glad to see they've gotten back on track. Will be coming back again very soon!
Food was Good service was great place was not busy so anything less then great would have been 1 star.
I had food to go as I was just passing through and staying at a local hotel. The food was hot and fresh. Very happy. I had the Alfredo with broccoli and shrimp.

Ate at Applebees tonight and ordered Bourbon Street Steak, my favorite. I was disappointed because I ordered it medium rare and it came medium well. I ate it anyway because I didn't have time to have it exchanged, but was not happy. All other aspects of the visit were satisfactory.
The people were really pleasant, but tired. The restaurant was filthy, even the Venetian Blinds were dirty (looked like they were splashed with Bar-B-Q sauce or something. The floors were dirty and tables stacked with glasses. Maybe they are short staffed. The food was just okay. The steak we ordered medium (with pink) arrived hot and well done.I think college students aren’t very picky and didn’t seem to mind the heavy salt and inaccurate orders or dirty glasses. We sent a drink back because the glass was dirty. Perhaps one of those reality screaming celebrity chef - managers could come & clean this place up.
The riblets platter is so delicious! Cooked perfectly, so tender. Spinach and artichoke dip was awesome as well! Waitress was very delightful. And on time! Brittany B. Was our waitress! Excellent service. My wife had garlic chicken Alfredo and said it was delicious also. Great family environment. And kid friendly!
