When I walked by this place earlier in the day, I saw they had a Green Egg grill in the front window. I thought something like "oh, that place probably knows what they're doing!" without thinking to note the name. Later that evening when looking for reviews of where to eat, we decided to head to Trungos, which to my delight, was the place we had walked by earlier.I had an awesome pulled pork grilled cheese with candied jalapenos and garlic mashed potatoes. I also got to try some of their bratwurst which was also amazing. It had really great coriander flavor which is my favorite seasoning for sausage. The staff was also very courteous and attentive. Very happy we decided to have dinner, and look forward to visiting again the next time we're in the area!

Everything we at here was excellent. We had the brats and a grilled cheese pulled pork sandwich. The brats came with some of the best sauerkraut I have ever eaten. The service was awesome, atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. Would recommend stopping here!

Excellent food and great service. The interior is very comfortable, and the food is reasonably priced. The pulled pork is great, and the mac and cheese is excellent — I suggest keeping the candied jalapeños on the mac and cheese, as they aren’t too spicy, and are chopped into tiny cubes and slightly sweet, but not sweet enough to make it taste more like a desert.

I almost hesitant to post this review for fear that I won’t be able to get a seat next visit! Trungo’s is a hidden gem. This was my second visit and it was even better than the first time. I received some intel about heading to the underground on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Last visit we saw the Loudoun Jazz Ensemble and tonight was Swing Shift. The regular restaurant is closed, but the place to be is downstairs and it was standing room only tonight. The band was on! We had a table of about 14 friends meet up - some had been there before and others were new to the venue - but everyone was, pardon the pun, blown away. If you want a fun night to hang with friends, share some good food, drinks and excellent music-go to Trungo’s…just leave a seat for me!

Small quaint place with fantastic food and service. While the Cajun Style BBQ Shrimp was good, it did not hit the mark for someone looking for a true authentic Cajun dish one might find in Louisiana. The Local Short Ribs, Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese, and the Cajun Chicken Curry were all hits in our party. For desert, the Pot de Creme Chocolate was wonderful with a flavor of toffee. Can't wait to go back again.

Great service and great food. Everything is well prepared with good quality ingredients and care. Lots of good dishes to try and some good vegetarian options.

In a world starved of Wumbo's, I turned to Trungo's, and that made all the difference. They asked me what I would like to drink and I told them I grew up surrounded by drinks. Top notch service, would highly recommend.Blessed be The Don.

The best bratwurst I've ever had. And my wife's pulled pork grilled cheese was magical...she said it was the perfect sandwich. And they have German beer on draft, which made this the perfect Saturday lunch.

Overwhelmingly impressed with the quality since the new partnership with Punto! I grew up surrounded by grumbo, and Trungo's is by far the best I've ever had. 5/5 good rat indeed. Compliments to the Rag''ss
