We came here with friends on a busy Saturday night and even though they were packed, the service we received was excellent and the speed of delivery of food and beverage was great. The venue is rustic, quaint and nicely decorated. Their menu is awesome! So many Italian-based small plates and entrées to choose from! They make their own pasta in house, which is also incredible. Their wine list is incredible, as one would imagine given their name. Their cocktail list is very unique and interesting too (even feature yellow Chartreuse!) They offer many interesting wines by-the-glass and in flights too, so you can try whatever you’re in the mood for or prefer. The items we tried were all great! Save room for dessert, as that’s equally as incredible as their entrées and small plates. Definitely will return here!

From the phone call to set the reservation, all the way to us paying the check, this place was great. It was date night for us, and 12 years together. So wanted something special. They did not disappoint. We ordered wine samplers with pork belly as an appetizer. The wine is wine. We all have our preferences, & they have a great selection. The pork belly was amazing. Tender, juicy, with a great crust. The main course was a tomahawk ribeye dinner for two. Simply put, amazingly succulent. We chose mashed potatoes and the brussel sprouts casserole. Creamy, cheesy goodness. This place is now our go to for special occasions.

Wonderful service. Suburb food. Excellent atmosphere. Just perfect.

The Wine Kitchen has two locations (Leesburg VA and Frederick MD) and I have NEVER eaten a meal at either place without enjoying it thoroughly. The owner's parents are close friends, and seeing them and their son and his family has been an Easter tradition for many years. If any problems arise with the services, such as the waiters, the available selections or the time it takes to get your meal, they are all fixed promptly.

great service, food, and environment!

It was recommended to us by my boss and fellow pizza lover. Also he and his wife gave me a gift card for there. From the start it was fantastic. The guys working the open kitchen were professional & courteous. The hostess was very friendly. Our waitress/server was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the menu. We it took some time to figure out what we wanted. Every thing on the menu sounded yummy. We got a 14" pizza with fresh mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, spinach, and mushrooms no sauce. 2 small house salads(field greens, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, halved cherry tomatoes, and gorgonzola cheese. The salad comes with raspberry vinaigrette. We got one salad with blue cheese. The dressing was good. The salads were very nice and the greens were fresh and dry. The pizza came and the crust was light, had a great flavor and was baked just right. Crispy bottom but not burnt. The toppings were fresh and that did not skimp on them. In my opinion it was one if the best pizzas we have had. We also got. 2 tiramisu to go. They were fantastic tasting. They were busy and now I know why. We will be back. Also when the outdoor seating is open you can bring your dog and they can sit there with you. When you eat there you will not be disappointed

Haven't been in a while due to COVID and other priorities. Whole new staff, but same responsive service, tasty food, and well curated wine list. I'll admit I started with a $3.50 High Life while picking out a mature red wine.

My friend and I came in for dinner on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. We had an amazing time with the staff at The Wine Kitchen. Props to you all for being so friendly, (seemingly) happy, knowledgeable, and on point!! That is skill. That is refreshing. That is all. Thanks again- it was just what we needed!

I don't know if hidden gem is the right word but the Wine Kitchen consistently has some of the strongest menu offerings in a town with great food. I do not know who the chef is or what they are up too but I have never had a meal that didn't leave me wanting to eat there again the next day.I recently ordered the shrimp pasta and it was thoughtful and unctuous and had the right amount of zing. I'm not a seafood pasta guy typically but this one blew me away.My favorite thing about this place is that they can be, what I like to call, effortlessly vegan. Their vegan and vegetarian offerings are beautiful and filling dishes that would impress anyone who is typically spooked by use of the v words. Also shoutout to the bar and service staff who are knowledgeable and friendly and make the traditionally daunting task of choosing wine a breeze. I know how intimidating a large wine menu can be but perfectly paired wine flights, whimsical descriptions, and patient servers make this a great place for a person new to wine as well as the seasoned sommelier.

Great service! Great food !
