Let me start by saying I have never been a fan of Subway but I went this afternoon because someone had given me a gift card. I ordered some steak club sandwich that was barely anything basically toasted bread with a small scoop of steak and piece of old bacon....whatever it is what it is. So I did the combo and it came out to 9 and some change which for what it was is kind of crazy.....way over priced but I didn't care as I had the gift card....except....the card reader would not read my gift card. The lady in front of me also had some issue with a scan from her phone so needless to say they had defective equipment. The dude behind the counter never or apologized or if he did I couldn't tell because he mumbled the whole time so long story short I paid $9 something for toasted bread and four flakes of start and a old piece of bacon. Never again
I went here after work on a Tuesday night it was 20 minutes before closing, I wanted to get something to eat so I decided to go to subway because it was on the way to my house, the lady that attended me looked very mad that I had gotten there asking me what bread I wanted with a stern face, I tried to be nice and ignore those gestures but when she asked me what vegetables I wanted she put a little on it, I’ve worked at subway before so I know how the serving sizes work and everything, when she asked me what sauces I wanted I told her I wanted 3 different ones because I don’t like a dry sandwich and that’s when she told the other lady that was working there in Spanish “how much sauce can this guy put on the sandwich” the tone and way she said it I could tell she was mad at me for nothing. If this is really the type of employees subway obtains then I’m gonna have to start telling people not to dine there.
