Such a lovely restaurant and delicious food. I think this is the best Sakura Japanese resturant i ever visited. The chef was well trained too. The resturant ambiance was very good. Neat and clean resturant. Seems it's very popular as it was completely filled to it's capacity. I would suggest everyone znd anyone shall visit with their friends and families. I will give 10/10 marks.
I had looked forward to take out from here all week for Mother's Day (we can't dine in due to small children and current health risks). My husband tried to call to place the order but the line was always busy. Assuming the line was down, he decided to go and place the order in person. There were workers inside but the door was locked with a reservations only sign. They refused to come to the door. Not sure why they don't just close. How would people book a reservation if they can't do so in person or over the phone and if they had one, how on earth would they get in... If you want to eat, don't bother. Ended up having to cook anyway to feed my hungry kids while we figured out a plan.
This Japanese restaurant is so basic. The food was bland; I could have cooked better food at home. I very rarely go out to dinner but I happened to visit this location for a family member's birthday. I'm not a small person, but I do have personal goals I am trying to reach. That being said, I asked for the children's portion of the teriyaki chicken. Rather than accepting my request, I received a comment of "I mean, are you just not that hungry?" to which I kindly responded, "I'm trying to eat smaller portions, thanks." But, that's not where it ended. Apparently, you cannot be allowed to order a child's size portion if you're an adult. That's absurd. I don't want 5 pounds of rice. I only want 1 cup, okay? Rather than question my state of hunger based on my size, kindly inform me that the child size portions are only for children 9 and under. Or, you could put my request in the computer and smile and move on about your night.Heads up!!!! If you're an individual who's looking to enjoy themselves at a restaurant, but also trying to be conscious of portion control, I would strongly advise you avoid this place, or prepare yourself to be thrown off by rudeness. How it ended? I ordered sushi. The end. (Complete BS!)*** I only rated 2 stars because our Chef Peter was entertaining and super friendly. This disaster of a restaurant doesn't deserve the remaining stars due to rudeness. ***
I come to this restaurant to pick up my food but it was not ready I asked him nicely if my food is ready but he yelled at me and he said it will take 20 more minutes so if your waiting for your food you have to wait outside of the restaurant don’t wait by our front desk this is very rude you guys have to train your employees how to talk with a customer even if you guys have a good food but you guys don’t have no good customer service.I will never buy food again from this rude restaurant ??
The worst manager. My family and I came here for dinner. We were the only ones there because it was 4:30. The manager came to seat us and dismissively told us he has no servers and he has no time for jokes. We let that go. Then he took our orders and I said I wanted a steak and chicken. I then specified that I wanted rib eye and chicken, and he sighed so loudly, clearly annoyed. It was as if I had changed an order that was already out. My sister then asked what appetizers they had and he answered her as if she’s the dumbest person on the planet. Mind you, she and I had toddlers with us so we were trying to pacify them and put in orders. This guy was so bad that another family left the restaurant. We wanted to leave as well but we had our toddlers seated so we stayed. The only good thing I can say is that the chef was nice and engaging and the food was not bad. I hope the owner reads this review and checks his manager.
Despite being a big chain, this place is pretty decent. I was happy with the sushi rolls we got and the fried rice. And even happier with the price of everything.
Sakura remains our go to bulletproof Japanese Teppanyaki style restaurant in Leesburg Virginia. Everything is just terrific. Portions are generous. The cooks are skilled and entertaining. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Management has been super helpful with us in getting seated no matter how small or large our party is. My only complaint is that they offered a birthday club where you give them your email address and for years now we have not gotten the discount that we are supposed to get for our birthday dinner.
Very good! The filet mignon was excellent. Nice show, nice staff too!
Took an hour to get sushi with only 1 other table in entire restaurant. Definitely not the place to go on your lunch break unless you want hibachi only.
Friendly, quick service with delicious sushi and Hibachi steak. Ordered the filet. Good portions of soup, salad, rice, noodles and vegetables
