The purpose of these Agile/Kanban systems is to keep the customer updated on their order. Unfortunately this Panera bread store would rather fudge their metrics To look good on paper rather than provide excellent customer service an accurate data. I ordered through the app and I received an update that my food was ready. Upon entering into the store I did not see my name on their display board for my food and there was no food placed on the rapid to go shelf. I asked the lady behind the counter where is my food because it stated it was ready. She said they were making it and we’re having issues with the bread machine. I stated I understand that you are experiencing issues but why would you state that my food is ready when it’s not? I then had to wait 13 minutes in the store for them to make my food. That is no way to run a business. Your scores and metrics might be high due to false data but your customers reputation is now lower.
Things have gotten better, on the whole, with this Panera seeming to have adapted to the pandemic and to the after pandemic times. There are still periodic supply chain problems but nothing major.
Too much salt in the chicken noodle soup as well as sandwiches. Please think about customers who want to have a low sodium diet
At least this Panera is “consistent” from visit to visit… always far from the cleanest location and portion sizes are laughable given cost to eat here (can’t blame supply chain or Covid for cutting down on portions — just do what other businesses have figured out by now and just post that portions will be impacted or prices will change to reflect them). Young staff look irritated and far from welcoming. Nearly $40 for 1 kids meal and with only 1/3 of the bowl full and 2 half and half meals..? Chicken noodle soup was all soup, no chicken, noodles or veggies, and out of Mac & cheese! Yikes! The food was not good nor bad, which is why they get the 2 stars they do. General menu options limited. Regret every time I come here… and the paper straws were the actual final straw that broke the camels back. Pretty sure everyone else ditched them by now.. get on board, Panera. Could’ve been a much better visit but I blame myself for giving them chance after chance to get it right when they clearly have no interest in doing so.. ?
Estela always always always makes my day, she really cares about the customers needs and tries to be as accommodating as she possibly can. So young and can run a business better than most adults I’ve worked with myself. Can make a mean iced latte!
It seems like every time I come to this location, my order is wrong. I’ve ordered twice in the past month or so for pickup orders and both times something has been left off the order or it’s just flat incorrect. Probably won’t return.
Every time my family and I ordered food at Lansdowne Panera, we received quick & accurate order, and awesome customer service. Not just that, if they made mistake with your order then they are very apologetic and go above & beyond to compensate you. We really appreciate the owner/manager for their management style and all the staff. We hope the other Panera restaurants should take training from Lansdowne Panera, especially, the Panera in Christiansburg, VA, where we had the worse experience. Thank you!!!
Accuracy of rapid pick up orders is subpar, at best. Orders rarely match and are, at times, not even close.
Wonderful place run by the efficient Manager and Staff. Extremely efficient. Kudos to the manager and staff. Never had any problem. They need to be the training model for the other Panera Bread chains. especially one in Blacksburg VA on Franklin St. I had such a horrible experience in that location. I hope the management sees this review and take action against the Panera Bread location on Franklin St. one.
Great customer service from the cooks! But men’s restroom looked and smelled like it hasn’t been clean in days. ?
