Was greeted! Seated! Food came out pretty fast! We ate appetizers first. Po boys second. The oyster po boy was great! The crab dip was good it just needed more seasoning. Hush puppies was a no for me. I need them to be a littler more sweeter. The host sprayed tables and sprayed my arm and leg. ? he apologized. But the overall experience was good. We felt welcomed. The tables were tight though. Little to close to each table. But our waiter was cool. The service was fast!
Amazing service and food! Josh was our server and he was very attentive. Literally after we placed our order the food was at the table. Fastest service EVER!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and great atmosphere!
Great Happy Hour! Good bar menu and variety of drinks. The frozen drink was delightful.Easy walk to King Street from public garage.
AMAZING!KING st Oyster bar. There is no other word to describe this fabulous bar. Since we arrived until we paid the service was perfect. I couldn’t be more happy with the freshness and delicious food flavor. Raw Oysters amazing!!!On the flip side, the Ahi tuna tacos were so good! The tuna and salmon was seared perfectly and the cucumber wasabi dressing added a nice refreshing flavor with a little kick. Just a wonderful dish! Overall I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
You know, I pray that one day we can go to restaurants and get adequate service. Tonight my fiancé and I decided to go to this establishment while we are visiting. Upon entering the hostess was so friendly. She sat us in Josh’s section. We ordered and everything was all good until it wasn’t. I ordered the lobster roll and didn’t realize it was just one mini roll with just lobster meat and bread. ( ??) My fiancé ordered a po boy which was on the same type of bread as the lobster roll so it was tiny as well. Our problem isn’t even with the food though. Our problem is our waiter failed to check on us but checked on everyone else consistently. My fiancé sat needing a refill our entire entree and dessert. We literally had to ask. We stacked our plates so the waiter could know we were finished with our appetizer and entree and it wasn’t until the hostess came did you come. The hostess brought us our check at the end of the meal and that was the last straw for me. As someone who’s worked in restaurant management a few years I know how judgemental people can be and o most definitely believe Josh made an assumption about us and missed out of my gifting night( once a week I give a server $100 on top of their tip just because) The vibe of the restaurant was cool, but the food was simply Ok and my waiter sucked.
My wife’s favorite place in Leesburg. We have only ever had an amazing experience.
Read all the rave reviews so we headed here for a weekend lunch. Could not wait to indulge in what we perceived to be mouth watering dishes. The people (can’t call them chefs) in the kitchen have no idea what they are doing. My experience seems to mimic another reviewers. We both can’t be wrong! We shared 4 dishes. None of which were even remotely good. Our Blue crab & corn soup was plentiful with corn....no sign of any crab (or bacon for that matter). If you make the broth with crab shells, that doesn’t entitle you to call it blue crab soup. Also, same thing....don’t send it out in bowls that are ice cold. Had to send it back, and when it returned it still came back to me barely warm. When you offer an oyster Po Boy, it should be on a nice, long, soft French bread with a spicy remoulade sauce. This tiny sandwich came to our table on a New England hot dog roll (think Lobster Roll). So disappointed. Also ordered Oysters Rockefeller. Let me say this....if you bill yourself as an oyster house, you should know which half of the oyster to use. Instead of the deep side of the shell with the oyster liquor, they used the shallow side. Spinach was a few small pieces chopped up, not on top of the oyster but blended in to the cheesey topping. The topping was not only a poor version of what I’ve had before, but was solidified and tasteless. Our salad didn’t fair much better. Mango and figs were so hard and unripe they could hardly be cut with a knife. We sat at a long table top in the front of the restaurant and while waiting for the previous people to vacate, tabletop was wiped down with a rag, and NOT sanitized. Seating is VERY close together. Would never recommend, and certainly never go back.
Absolutely delicious! It can be so difficult to find truly great seafood. King Street delivers... and for a fair price as well. The lobster, oysters, and guacamole were all excellent! Pro tip: use a drop of the hot sauce conveniently provided with seafood in dropper bottles on each scoop of guacamole - you wont regret it! My wife had the crab cakes, which were very good. My scallop pasta was good enough to make my 6-year-old demand I give him more bites after the first. And the cocktails were spot on. I cannot recommend King Street enough... 5-stars!
Atmosphere and bartender excellent food even better will become my weekly destination
Bora had great customer service and was able to ensure we were well taken care of on a very busy night. Overall great service and amazing food. Price is reasonable, portions are large. We love it here.
