My husband and I had a great experience at Goosecup and Leesburg as a whole. We tried a couple craft cocktails that were super yummy and paired well with the meat and cheese board they also offer. The vibe at Goosecup is the expected college crowd combined with an outgoing older crowd. You can sit inside or out. We sat inside, but I would note it was fairly loud inside; so if I had it to do over, I would have sat outside. Overall, Goosecup was a great start to an evening adventure in Leesburg and I would go back the next time we are in the area. Thanks for a great experience :-)
I came here yesterday and ordered a Latte + Chocolate Croissant and a large Iced Coffee with milk. The staff were very friendly and helpful -- I wasn't prepared to order when I arrived but they said to let them know if I have any questions and to take my time and order whenever I was ready. I also arrived through the back entrance and no one gave me a hard time. The latte was not overly sweet (in fact, a pure latte shouldn't be sweet at all and this wasn't really) and the chocolate croissant (which they heated up for me without me even asking) was absolutely delicious.I would definitely come here again. Everything I had was great but the fact the staff were so nice and willing to help without being pushy at all really put this place over the top for me.
The food is really fresh, and the coffee is wonderful. It fills up really quickly, so get there early if you want to dine in.
We came in with 8 people and they were very accommodating. I'm not sure if I'd suggest doing that because it's a walk in and sit place, but they were very friendly and understanding. They do serve you if you order for-here. The coffee is delicious and the food was very tasty. Loved the chicken egg sandwich and their sunshine latte was super bright, orangy and flavorful. Very pleasant experience.
Coffee taste good, the environment is nice, if you like to meet up with friends or enjoy time alone, great place to go. Their avocado toast tastes great! The chocolate croissant is a must have!
Great vibe at this spot. Knowledgeable barista staff and good drinks. I really enjoyed sitting inside. Maple latte was excellent. Definitely recommend to anyone walking through Downtown Leesburg
It is a specialty coffee, and I think it is the best cup of coffee you would have in the area. It is modern designed and it is spacious. They have diffrent mode of the lights, they switch depending on the time of the day. But what I didn't like is the smell inside, you could smell the oil cooking.
Super cute and modern space. The food was awesome, we got the bacon egg breakfast sandwich and the avocado toast. I will totally order it again next time I go! For coffees we got the mocha, honey latte, and vanilla latte. Everyone said they enjoyed their coffees. If you’re in the area I would recommend!
So I went to this place on accident as I was waiting to buy a sandwich from Bkd. However it was too busy so I walked away and saw this place from a distance. I am glad I did. The java was good but their breakfast sandwich was great. Now this isn't some small sandwich, I would compare the size to a five guys burger. So if you are really hungry come get one. Aside from the size it was really good. If I remember correctly it was a bacon egg and cheese with some arrugula??? Dont remember but it was Mmmm mmmmmmmmm. The place was beautifully decorated and super clean. I only wish it was closer in town but if you think about it is in a great spot and must attract much cyclist.
UPDATE based on response from business owner, which was very defensive.I felt my review was very kind and honestly admitted that my opinion was based on my own style and what I’m used to. And their response was very insulting to what I usually go for (I.e., “things pumped with corn syrup”). And the analogy about me going to a vegan place and “complaining” about it not serving meat was very unfair. I had never been to the area and walked past and decided to give it a try. No expectations, just trying something new. Not every review you get can be stellar and from people whose style exactly matches yours.I was a little disappointed trying their coffee for the first time. I like to have more flavors to choose from, especially during the holidays, but the only latte options were vanilla or lavender, so I chose a mocha. It was too bitter for my taste, though the art was lovely! The atmosphere inside was very upscale and modern. For a coffee place, that’s not really my style either - I prefer a more cozy, homey feel. However, I would like to come back for a nice glass of wine either inside or on the lovely looking patio in the warmer weather.
