Steak and Cheese sub is unbelievable!
The pizza is not bad and would be great if there was more pizza sauce on it. The pizza was almost dry and had little to no pizza sauce on it. The veal parmigiana was overcooked and not tender.
They have the best N.Y pizza in town hands down.
Pretty decent pizza better than dominos you just gotta pay the tax. 15% of the time your pizza will be burnt but the rest of the pizza is still pretty good. Oh it is also important to keep in mind, unless you’re dining in you can’t expect the dudes at the counter to be friendly they are there to just sell the pizza they don’t really care about customer service as much but its ok

I will no longer be ordering any pizza from Giovanni's!! The pizza is good but every time I place an order for a pizza to pick it up and I write down instructions thin crust, it is not thin crust the pizza is not cut into pieces and the cheese always seems to be a total mess all over the pizza I guess they don't read the instructions??
Pizza smelled delicious but we left after being ignored for over 30 minutes. It is definitely a busy joint on a Friday night so don't dine in.
I first went to Giovanni's back in 1979 when it was at its original location. Was the best NY Pizza I could find around the area.But over the last couple of years, it really has become mediocre. Pizza has been burnt several times (sadly I got it to go and found out it was burnt down as I traveled down the road). Sometimes toppings have been light. Inconsistent.....miss there old pizza maker who opened his own pizza place.Then there is the guy at the register when you come in to pick up food. I ordered a pizza every weekend for carry out several years straight. Every time I walk in, this guy never is friendly, never greets me w a "hi, how's it going", no recognition of repeat loyal business......just a BLAH attitude.Dude, Try SMILING and acting like you appreciate your customers!!!! And I think he may be owner or the head mgr!!!Made my choice easy as I always drove out my way to go to Giovanni's.....go someplace else!!!
This a great restaurant to. This a great place to take the hole family the food excellent the portions big this a hidden gem of a restaurant just went here last Friday for the first time was very impressed with the lay out of the place is very nice. The service excellent Chelsea was very helpful and professional the owner was very nice he came around and checked on every one he a class act and very professional. This a must go to for all you will enjoy it we do strongly recommend this restaurant to all.
Hi,My husband ordered a linguini seafood alfreado and they put way to much sauce he couldn’t even eat,it he says it was very disgusting,it was like glue!
