From the moment we arrive at Echelon and were greeted by Stephanie to when we finally put our spoons down after sampling our third dessert, the night was nothing short of perfection! Stephanie treated us like we were visiting family as she engaged with us throughout the night and we noticed her similar rapport with all the other tables. From Diego to Jessica to Will, all the staff was friendly, both knowledgeable and conversant about the food and wine and provided first class service. The food? Well, we tasted every item on the menu and found some updates to some old favorites and delicious new seasonal dishes. And, just when we thought the food couldn’t get better, the next dish would come out and prove us wrong!! We just wished we we lived closer to Leesburg so we could enjoy Echelon more often but whether you live near or far, an evening at Echelon is time well spent.

Highly Recommend!! The food, drinks and ambience were awesome. You feel like you were dropped into Manhattan right there on King Street in downtown Leesburg.
Oh, that olive oil cake. So yummy. Paired with a great facility, polite and knowledgeable staff, and a long list of approachable and reasonably priced wines. With the 30%discount on bottles to go, I left with two Italian reds that were $2 whole dollars over retail. Actually a cost savings that I didn't need to stop on the way home! A must visit in Leesburg.
My lady and I were not impressed with the attitude of the hostess and server we were initially greeted by. The server was standing at the hostess stand when we came up. I said hello and he didn't even look up at me and just asked " do you have a reservation?" He seemed irritated. I said sorry we don't. The hostess then came up and the server just walked away and didn't say anything to us or the hostess. I informed the hostess that we do not have a reservation but is there anyway we could put on a list or could we sit at the bar (which was empty at the time). The hostess informed us that she couldn't do anything since we did not have a reservation and that's it, nor did she offer to make a reservation for us. My lady was not pleased- as she has worked in the restaurant industry herself for 10+ years. You should take the time to educate and train your staff more on being decent- it's not rocket science. Be nice. Be kind <3
Great wine experience and matched with great food
We just called Echelon to postpone our wine tasting class as my wife was feeling ill with the potential of having Covid. Out of the caution for other patrons and staff and they stated that they couldn't help us and that they were still going to charge our credit card in full. This is after I called 45 minute before the reservation and spoke to a staff member who stated she would call me back as she was unaware of any cancellation policy. She called us back 5 minutes after the reservation started. GREAT customer service. I won't ever visit your establishment.
Lovely atmosphere and even better food. The olive oil cake is to die for! Also love the buratta. The only thing they could do to improve would be to offer some larger shareable portions.
