Loved our experience. The staff was wonderful, the view beautiful and the tasting room was cool (literally). We will visit again!
Had a great time here. All the staff members were super friendly and some of the best NOVA wine I've had. The grounds are pretty with a nice pond. Plenty of seating areas. We went near open and it was very relaxed and quiet.
I cannot say enough about what a delightful day we spent at Casanel today. My three friends came to see me in Leesburg and we decided to go to a winery that we had not yet visited...Casanel. What a great choice! After sampling the white wines on the beautiful deck, we settled on a bottle of pinot gris and sat on the patio. The wine was tasty, the scenery was picturesque, and the staff was wonderful. The owner, Nelson, came to visit with us and share his amazing journey with his incredible wife to get from humble beginnings to this winery. It is truly a family oriented business that emanates love and caring. We will all be back...I will definitely be bringing my family and other friends to Casanel.
Craig, our tasting server, was very knowledgeable and customer oriented. Provided an exceptional overview of the seven tastings and grapes used. All seven were extremely good and we left with three bottles and a club membership. We will definitely return on a routine basis.
We enjoyed our 1st visit here, it was a nice relaxing afternoon. The ride there was pretty. We only tried some whites - I really liked the dulce. The room was quaint but spacious. Friendly service. Couldn’t tell what the vibe/theme was but we’d def try them again.
Update. Staff and facilities just keep getting better. The award winning wines are just as amazing! It's been too long. What a pretty setting to sit back and learn about/enjoy award winning wines.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoy their wine! Being a native to Virginia all of my life, I am proud to say that Casanel Vineyards are producing superb wine right in my own town of Leesburg, Virginia!
Beautiful place, good wines and a fantastic host!
Got there early and not crowded and brought a bottle of Chardonnay. Nice atmosphere
I enjoyed the outdoor views and the grounds, and thought the wine was pretty good. However, for the price, I found their tasting to be very stingy at 4 1 oz pours served in plastic ramekins. I would go back, but I wouldn't do the tasting like that again.
